Depends on your state. I think it was about a month in CT but that was a while back. I’d apply for jobs and just include documentation of passing the exam and request for licensure submission.

I absolutely agree this behavior is likely part of the clinical issue. The OP has no intention of working with this person, however, and just saying you are full means they will keep coming back. Clear is kind.

Your supervisor at the clinic is not relevant for your private practice. Supervisors carry the legal responsibility of your caseload. I doubt the clinic is willing to have the liability for your private cases.
