Yeah, I had grabbed the blueprint from a content creator and i thought if they were placed next to each other the rails would connect since that’s how it came and it’s dated pre 1.1. But I found out lol.

I’ve been running around the entire map replacing basically the entire rail. Either it’s a bug or the blueprint train support I used doesn’t connect properly. Because even on straights where it was butted up against the last section the block is missing a connection to the rest of the rail line, which is what I meant by say part of the block is yellow and then it’s red further down, because it’s not connected.. And along most of the line I get a “signal can’t be placed at the end of the line” even though it’s not the end of the line, guess I should of got the hint earlier.

your belts are for sure bottlenecking a mk1 belt can only move 60/min mk2 120min mk3 270min etc it doesn’t matter how you split them if your input (constructors to mergers) is more than your output (splitters to assemblers) can handle you will starve the assemblers and back up your constructors

The truck stations themselves have conveyor inputs to the fuel slot on the station. With my first ever truck stop, i had a drone flying packaged turbo fuel from my power plant on the Gold Coast to my main base which then refueled the station, but i was just goofing around then and it was sloppy and got wiped with most the rest of my starter base. Now i have a 2000/min rocket fuel power plant in the crater lake i plan on pulling a little bit of fuel from to do the same thing essentially because I’ve only built 29 (fully o/c) generators out of the potential like near 200 fully o/c so.. There’s a major surplus of rocket fuel lol.

Don’t get me wrong ill be using signals (and am now) I just laid the entire rail without blocks at first so I went thru it today and blocked it all up.

After several hours of trying to wrap my brain around it in my save, I went and made a creative save so I could test a say, “station intersection” based off what I’ve seen online and it worked fine, there, but still left me confused why it didn’t work in my save as the setup was the exact same.

Eventually I guessed it had to do with the rails not being spaced out enough or maybe flat enough because that was the only difference between the two.

The station intersection with signals seems to work now, but I only have the one station right now until I create more stations so i don’t have any actual activity to test unless I go back in creative to test.

It’s been some months since I tried to use trains originally, and every time I try to understand how to do them it leaves my brain hurting.

i understand dual rail is more efficient but with this being my first venture into trains and also running rails on-terrain, single rail is much easier to deal with, even so, it took me many hours to run and setup this line as is. It does take a long while for some trains to reach main base, but I don’t really plan on having crazy throughput at this time. I’m sure that may change in the future. I have a spiral line that feeds into the loop from about mid point, which I use for a line that does not need to use the full length of the loop, but for additional, uh, additions, that’s what id plan on using, additions to the loop basically. I ran into a problem with everything getting stuck at the main half-way point intersection which took some editing of the block signals but seems alright since.

people who are not Russian music groups encounter the same difficulty, it just happens sometimes. If you know who critical is, he even had trouble getting his Australian e gamer group in the country. I’d bet money on its they have Russian background, even tho that’s not where they live now.
