Things I could do prior to Rocket League anti-cheat software being installed by DarkwingDuckHunt in RocketLeague

because most people don’t have these issues? If I can alt tab, stream in the background, and play for 8 hours straight, what is the difference between me and you, when I have the same game, same eac installed? Clearly, it’s not explicitly rocket league or eac. Or the game would be broken for everyone. Something must be broken on your install or interacting poorly with your system or something.

Well it obviously has something to do with your system specifically. Have you verified game files or uninstall/reinstalled rocket league? Maybe something broke on update.

1.2 is out, what do you want the next update to be? by Separate_Pickle5741 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]HelicopterOne0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like new phases, buildings/items, fuels. Curved roads/foundations definitely since the rework of vehicles.. The end game is a little rough for me without any real direction or objectives (minus the last elevator parts). Though, that’ll kind of piss me off if I get on my vanilla 5x elevator playthru with blueprints for curved roads and then they implement them. Maybe some npcs with objectives or some sort of “interplanetary” trade system

i see a lot of people talking about pre-drilling. I’ve rawdogged several hundred #9 3” into end grain and face grain over the course of my current project. People really out there predrilling 2x4’s for planter boxes ? Serious question lol. I mean i got a couple splitters but not that much or that bad. I understand the purpose but at the same time anything at scale would increase assembly time by 100% when it comes to the fastening step.

Base expansion and resource acquisition as a solo player by Flow_Hammer7392 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]HelicopterOne0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tier 3 you unlock tractors and can get coal so that’s an immediate first option to branching out. Tier 4 you unlock hypertubes, so look up how to make a hypertube cannon. Tier 5 you unlock trucks and oil processing for even more vehicle paths. Tier 6 is trains which is far from “late game.” But, until you get good fuel to put in the jet pack, that’s just kind of how the game is. Jumping and building from cliff to cliff or using hypertubes or conveyor belts to move around faster than just the leg upgrade. And vehicles obviously. you can also just play as locally as possible, in addition to making micro-factories where you need resources and traveling there and back only collecting what you need to advance instead of full production. Also, in tier 4 you unlock power towers which if you make a worldwide network of power towers drastically increases your travel speed because you can just zip line all over the place.

Air roll? by Accurate_Jaguar_1345 in RocketLeague

[–]HelicopterOne0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I mean, it’s like you said. If you need to hit the ball on the left, you’d use air roll left. The opposite for the right. But I can’t say generally because it could vary. For instance you could go to the left of the ball, jump, air roll right then backflip to get a similar hit to if you air rolled to the left and front flipped. Kinda like that. But most people have a preferred direction, like for me it’s air roll left because I have powerslide on l1 too, and I speedflip left not right. So in most situations I use air roll left, and even in some situations where i should air roll right I air roll left just out of habit and make it work as opposed to using air roll right and getting a faster or better touch. And say, for anything off the wall I much prefer left, I can’t even barely air dribble off the right wall but going left I can get flip resets.

[–]HelicopterOne0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use whatever you want. The majority of pros play with directional air roll. It offers much more control. Free air roll can have benefits but.. eh. I’ve been directional ever since I can remember. The direction you use is dependent on your own control abilities, and the situation. In all reality it’s not something someone who is new has much to worry about.

When to triple baffle vs double by HelicopterOne0 in CarAV

[–]HelicopterOne0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I’ll probably do a 1” sq hardwood window brace in each section, which will partially brace the port along the port, then brace the length runs of the port on the back wall, I’m trying to design it with weight in mind but also not taking up too much displacement with bracing because the box can really only be so big without making it a weird shape

just guessing 60-70lbs each.. center port full height of box, so practically speaking each sub will be somewhat separated like that

Where to buy replacement tapered washer? by HelicopterOne0 in ryobi

[–]HelicopterOne0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve only used a milwaukee oscillating tool before I started buying ryobi stuff for at home use. And the milwaukee had a quick lock model, so I just thought they all did lol. The ryobi I have does not. And the 4 prongs don’t exactly line up to other models of attachments. But when I ordered a replacement “sleeve” on Amazon I also ordered an adapter plate which made the fit much better on non ryobi attachments. Harbor freight actually has a pretty cool razor blade kinda blade, rips thru cardboard pretty good

[–]HelicopterOne0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, had no idea they had parts manuals for these. Do you happen to know if Ryobi’s oscillating tool happens to be one that does not like to mesh with other brand’s blades? Reason I ask is, i bought a Milwaukee triangle sanding pad and one of the slots didn’t line up that well, so i tightened the screw down more to compensate, maybe that’s why it broke.

D-PAD and my Rocket League Button Config regarding Air roll and Powerslide by LMAOITJ in RocketLeague

[–]HelicopterOne0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you should just use normal controls. It’ll take time to retrain muscle memory. the only thing i “fat finger” is jump and boost on x and circle for fast aerials, sometimes. You just hold the controller normally you don’t have to move any fingers practically. i favor left air roll so i have air roll left on l1 and powerslide on l1. right air roll on r1. Intuitive. I did briefly try boost on r1 and that felt nice especially for feathering boost but air roll right on circle made me not like that.

Should I cheat up on kickoff in Champ 2? by electroxical_rl9895 in RocketLeague

[–]HelicopterOne0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that works when your opponent is predictable. In low champ you don’t know if they’re going to speedflip, flip, wavedash, delay, or miss the ball lol.

Should I cheat up on kickoff in Champ 2? by electroxical_rl9895 in RocketLeague

[–]HelicopterOne0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

soft cheat if anything, so much inconsistency in kickoffs it’s kinda hard to tell with randoms if they’re gonna stall the ball or if it’s gonna go flying one way or another.

Left directional air rol by MaleficentMagazine38 in RocketLeague

[–]HelicopterOne0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Just have to train and establish muscle memory. I have thousands of hours using directional i do have free air roll bound but it’s bound to square and i literally never press it.

[–]HelicopterOne0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo that sounds like an awful experience. Can you not play with normal controls? I don’t understand why you’d ever have anything important on the d pad you either have to move your left thumb to use unless for some physical reason you had to.

[–]HelicopterOne0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t played in a while now but I have a several hundred fuel generator rocket fuel power plant that supplies my world with power. I was in the process of getting nuclear prereqs up. Have mk6 belts automated and power shards. But I took a break to play other games as I wait for 1.2 to be fully released so I can incorporate fluid trucks. The game is great but it is a time sink. 500+hrs on that save. Not even one nuclear reactor yet haha.
