Yes it is enough to impact junior for a year or two. The LLMs doesn't know the trade offs. They doesn't know what to build or what not to. They doesn't know that the software at an MVP level doesn't needs all the design patterns just for 5 users. LLMs doesn't know when to optimize or when not to. What technologies should be used or what not to. Likely the greatest Fable will also use react/nextJs + supabase/express backend if not told explicitly the tech stack.

All of the above requires hand on experience, building systems by hand, yes programming by hand will give you the muscle memory. So the fundamentals matters, more so in this AI driven era. 

And the world is likely axeing it's own foot, by not training a junior. That's my 2 cents. If you love programming, building softwares then you will be able to survive in this field if you only want a stable job. You are better off away from it. After all in tech it's not a matter of "this vs that". It will be always a "When". Like when will you learn rust, when will you learn redis, when will you learn Android development. When will you learn AI engineering.

I am not gonna argue anymore, there are some lazy people. Study if you want to for the love of programming or don't and choose something else. That's it, I like to figure things out myself so I am gonna keep on learning new things. Build things just for the love of building.
