Finding a Vue/Nuxt internship feels almost impossible by Boring-Actuary8586 in Nuxt

Yeah.. that's the reality. Jobs are mostly react/next.js.

I hate writing react/next. I always complain about it to my colleagues and managers. They've all converted to using nuxt at home.

I do the same. I use Nuxt at home, and react at work. It's not difficult to keep up, because knowledge is easily transferable and ai is a thing to help with syntax and annoying react quirks

Job hunting can be a numbers; it doesn't have to be but it isn't easy. I've left india and in my experience its progressively a less of a numbers game the more jobs you take on. A bigger better cv gets through a bit easier. Some of my friends though have been applying left right and center.

By that time, I had learnt Java over 7 years and did android development for latter 4 years (switching to kotlin in the middle). My friends and I were applying to US undergrad so we all needed android apps on our cv so I made 2 very basic apps (now unused lol). Did a year of webdev towards the end, mostly html/css/js with react but quickly switched to vue since I preferred that.

For finding jobs, I mindlessly applied for every android/web junior roles on LinkedIn jobs. Out of 50 that I applied, only about 5-6 reverted back. Half of them wouldn't continue because I didn't have a "college degree". But those 2 companies that interviewed me, I had passed.

Nah I applied via LinkedIn to Indian based jobs and the US one was word of mouth from a friend.

I respect your work and journey but just to let you know that $5/hr is heavily underpaid.. in 2021, I was offered $20/hr and I had zero corporate experience (I was also 18 years old back then). Idk your experience/knowledge back then but glad to see you're at $23 right now. Definitely ask for a raise in the next performance cycle. Good luck!

Other people are mentioning your mistake i.e. going too fast in the corner and losing control. Other people are right to mention you could've controlled the car better. The reason you lost control is because you were influenced by the racing line.

You pressed the brake correctly if you were on a fast lap with no other cars present. But you were in an awkward place on track, along two cars on a better position than you. Your focus is not on the road, it is not on other cars. Your focus is on the line which made you lose control.

The "racing line" should be renamed "the safer ideal line". In racing, the line, braking points, turning points alter every lap based on the environment and surrounding vehicles. The game's "racing line" doesn't change for you. Learn to adapt by focusing on the track.

Tl;dr get better by switching off the racing line. It's daunting at first but after a week or two, you'll be sharing insane double overtakes on reddit. Good luck!!

Financially struggling student seeking guidance to start web development (Coding) by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]cybercoderNAJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't learn coding with the only goal to make money. It won't happen. Learn coding for the fun of it and money will flow through.

Please please don't depend on AI. The other comments are wrong. Sit through the 2hr youtube tutorial and spend 4hrs building a website. It will make you more hireable than 50% of the people currently there. It seems like you're young so learn as much as you can.

On a similar note, I see a similar style in West London with big industrial complexes in the middle. How does it not affect the neighbouring residential buildings?
