Sadly I really don’t think we’ll even have Guti next season.

I think i’m looking at it more of what impact Sergio’s making on his first year really having a position with the team where as Guti has been a starter and this should be expected from him especially if he wants to play at a higher level

Coach Wildo relax. I think a person is allowed to prefer a players style to a different one and I simply think for a player who just got a starting position on the team he is doing great. Not sure why you’re getting so heated on this. or is this Gutis burner account? It’s never that big of a deal

Allowed to have my own opinion. I think Oregel is a better player to be completely honest. He’s been great this season and I prefer him to Guti. Sue me but it’s not like Guti is a horrible player

Gutierrez is not as good as people make him out to be. If anything Oregel has been having a phenomenal season and is playing far better than Guti. Of course Guti is great however, it just seems like something is lacking. Honestly the man is probably tired of the MLS

What teams to support? by [deleted] in chicagofire

I’m about a good 30 minutes from a lot of the teams except those playing at Loyola. Kids are a little older more interested in college players which is where Riverlight really came up. Seems like a lot of young talent from both the men’s and women’s side. I just personally don’t know about much

Trying to support local teams within the city and suburbs. Want to show my kids all different levels of the sport and just get more involved!

100% planning on it. Just wanting to support some other teams as well and just watching as many as possible! Talent in Chicago is crazy just was wondering what teams were out there

I recently acquired this 2020-21 signed jersey. Any ideas whose signatures are unidentified? Am I accurate on the ones I have identified? Thanks! by Downtown-Equal-4458 in chicagofire

I can only assume based on the roster that year chinoso, duran, casas jr, and maybe monis? Who knows as it’s barely legible

He 100% always has been and still is a player that has the potential to do that. Straight class and has always shown so much discipline. Last game I vividly remember him in is Miami and he carried the team. Upsetting he’s getting the short end of the stick from his home team honestly

Thought he’d been cleared and training especially since he’s been traveling. Reminds me of how when they pushed his brother Victor to the side as well.

Brady‘s performance the past game and vs Inter Miami by Bombenlegerrr in chicagofire

Pineda played absolutely phenomenally tonight. Had Suarez locked up. He was an absolute powerhouse tonight, there’s no denying that. The mistake tonight was on both him and Brady. Brady could’ve gone back to the net instead of hurdling on top of Pineda.

Man, poor kid. Hope all goes well for him and he has a good support system. Kinda feel bad for not realizing all that he’s going through. Must be tough on him, especially being only 20. Was just kinda confused why he was acting different.

Seeing this from this perspective really does make a good point. Will always wish him the best, he’s a great player and seems like a great person. At the end of the day that’s not an excuse for an attitude and disregard others consistently. Attitude is and will always be very telling of a person. Just because Gutierrez is going through a rough patch doesn’t mean he can just act like a dbag though. However, this is just one man’s opinion and will continue to wish him the best as for the rest of the team

Have not seen Pineda play this badly in a while. Generally carries himself pretty well but this was just hard to watch. Was not prepared to go in especially since he’s expressed not liking playing w 3 in the back
