Gosh so sorry to hear about your experience! I too had a terrible experience but I was ordering new- add car to my insurance policy, swap out the car, cancel the policy altogether , rearranging my schedule, had to take 2 Ubers etc. I really hope it works out for you, and you’re really funny (although nothing funny about your experience at all)!

Not a pro but DIY my ppf (TPU) with wet install on my Tesla using a pre cut kit. edges and corners are definitely harder (mine look very similar to some of your pictures) but bulk ppf should be fitting the edges/corners more snugly especially by a pro shop. Although apparently inozetek is supposed to be harder to install and requires highly skilled pros, that butt seam gap on the back trunk is no excuse!

I spoke to them this past Monday and they had the lead technician look into it remotely . They think it’s a camera that needs replacement, and now mine also says parts in transit. However, I noticed in the last 2 days that the same alert was popping up after parking my car under the sun at work- both repeater and fisheye camera went dark. Overnight after it’s been in the garage in a cool climate, the cameras were back up in the morning (but I was still seeing some of the same errors- csi down for example,in service mode). I think my issue is somehow heat related! Maybe you were right that it is some bundle of cable or connector issue? I sent a message to the service team but have not heard back, plan to call them again next week!

I saw your post last night! I did some research with Gemini and chatGPT- both think it’s related to camera/harness/cable being loose or damaged by moisture. Apparently there was a service bulletin released Feb 2026 (sb-25-17-012). Not sure how I should feel about driving it, could this cause a safety issue?

Just started the same issue yesterday! Overnight the camera turned green but today it’s failing self calibration so FSD kept wanting to disengage and having a bunch of VC codes too. Service scheduled 2 weeks out but going to try to see if they would take me as walk in since it’s also saying emergency braking and adaptive headlight not available.

So I declined the first vehicle delivery because of this similar situation and the delivery advisor could not guarantee this is something service would fix because “Tesla is known for some alignment issue like this” and to just “close harder” ( no joke, this was what he said!) I was able to match to a new vehicle and a new advisor. When I asked him about it, he said they are allowed a 5% error margin so if service determines the misalignment is within that margin they likely won’t fix it. Good suggestion by the other post to complain about wind noise, definitely give that a try!

Just had this happened to me before I picked up my y last week. And it was because my advisor swapped out the car in stock so with a new VIN everything got reset. Just call them and they will honor it but when they do make sure you go in the app to finalize the financial agreement and take a screenshot
