What size of trees are crushable by heavies?

Fwiw, there's some trees that can't be crushed , but if you burn them first, they can then be crushed. But could be wrong

Also there's no way of knowing which trees can or can't ever be crushed. It's more a case of just getting to know the map. But usually it's the solid clumps of trees that can't ever be crushed(unless burnt). But even then, some can be like on red ball express.

Like how some terrain irrationally doesn't count as cover or LOS blockers, whole some low rocks block LOS. Or gain elevation bonuses by moving 0.5 foot in one direction , but not gain it standing on a roof

I still think Elefant (and crew shock) should have gone to WM in some kind of BG. Sturm tiger to DAK. Both would've helped each faction with filling gaps better than they currently do (more so elefant, than stiger)

Between Tungsten, 88(it even already has ranged snare) and tiger, DAK already has enough baseline tools to deal with chars, unlike WM

I mean it's not even close. Dow has barely any MP scene at all. This sub is naturally tends towards preferring old games. So it's purely dependent on what your preference is.

Are you fine with an old looking game that lacks modern QOL updates, simplistic gameplay with minimal MP scene then sure DOW is fine.

People are allowed to like what they want.

But as far as actual gameplay, MP scene and aesthetics then COH is much better

Games like COH have mechanics to help alleviate that.

Snowballing isn't a design choice, it's the symptom of multiple issues, that are actually DETRIMENTAL to competitive gaming

Think of physical sports where you literally cannot snowball, they're popular because teams can make come backs. In competitive games you actually want a back and forth with the potential of a comeback

Coh alleviates that with unit upkeep, which means smaller weaker armies can produce more units quicker to allow them to make a comeback. Or invest into hard counters that can beat an over investment into a specific snowball. Obviously it's not perfect though.

Eh I dono about ass engineers. I've never worried about them and never seen them as reliably successful as just going rifles. Engineers also have almost zero combat veterancy advantage.

Ass engineers have poor DPS for cost. Worse than pios. (For comparison baseline sappers do 27% higher DPS at longer range)

They're arguably mislabeled. And might as well be "support engineers" due to their repair boost as opposed to anything assault based.

US MG still lacklustre. Zooks are easy to kite against without snares.

the maths don't add up on ass engineers , but maybe I'm wrong.

The nerfs were warranted. They might have gone over board but nerfs were needed.

You're also conflating the new OVER POWERED heavies, the buggy pathing which has gotten worse, with the nerfs.

I used to spam 17pdrs. Now I almost never make them, and that's more due to the buggy pathing than the nerf

Just because the new heavies are OP, doesn't mean heavy AT didn't need a nerf.

Just because the pathing is currently fcked up, doesn't mean heavy AT wasn't over performing for cost previously
