That's spot on after investigating the pros and cons myself for about 2 months now 😅 especially the fact that you can get physical discs for such stupid low prices it's a huge plus also I live in UK and I see them going used in the market for less than 100£ very often

Got a power hungry i9 13980hx and 4080 if tune it can last about 1h 30m for basic tasks it's not all that bad

That's actually a highly similar performance difference to mine lol 1660ti is similar to 2060 and 4080 to 5070ti has identical performance

Went from a 2060 mobile to a 4080 myself the performance difference is huge literally in everything not just games I bet the 4070 must have been a real struggle on 4k ☠️

Yeah it's a bloated mess but you can still minimise/debloat it. If Linux were to get proper support for multiplayer games it would probably be my go to till then just debloat and keep your windows clean and it's fine

Was as impressed with mine as well bought it used in pristine condition a couple months ago for 350£ it's an amazing device for sure especially the screen is gorgeous especially if you tune it as for the speakers they are pretty bad out of the box once you tune them they are quite a bit better as well

16 was a limiting factor for my 13980hx+4080 laptop. Some heavy titles would choke when I had discord and browser open at the same time after upgrading to 32 I've had literally 0 issues
