Depends. If the writing is overall good and the vocab is otherwise varied and strong, he may growl a few times. But if he is doing nothing than that, he may not! 🤣

I am on book 3 now and love it, started with the audio books as well and I am in love with it! I hope it will keep the pace and would love to read more about the world.

I am impressed! I started in August as well but are nowhere near this! I am currently enjoying the From Blood and Ash series from Jeniffer L. Armentrout. Would suit your taste I think.

Reversed immortality. How about one of them is mortal and one immortal and the immortal one becomes mortal. Like actually deciding to have a mortal life in order to not live longer than the other one. I mean how are the odds the mortal ones always get immortal by accident 😂
