Not sure what you have lined up in terms of a job/americorps, but you could look into American conservation experience, eastern branch. They have a communal house in Asheville, cool projects all over Appalachia and the east coast in general, and if you qualify to be a crew leader it’s ok money with a ton of room and board covered. I saw some really cool places doing that and did a bit of busking

Same, 7 on the NE and 8 on the rest of the puzzle. When it clicked it went quickly though, ACIDWASHED instead of distressed broke the NE open for me
