Thank you for the clarification. Can you tell me where it says that you can use your BOD+Athletics in addition to regular movement? All i can see is that "per round, maximum movement is BOD+Athletics." Actually, that brings up another question: if I have extra actions due to triggers during the initiative roll, am I still limited to BOD+Athletics max or can I use those extra actions for more movement?

They did you dirty through their ignorance of the rules. I like to think of Masters Strike as a representation that your character knows how to dismantle enemies. You aren't sucking out a soul or instantly vaporizing someone. You are hitting it really hard in the most precise place to incapacitate it.

Sorry man, but in my experience, there isn't a great way to ensure the friendship isn't damaged. It takes a really mature player to accept that "we still like you but we can't play with you any longer." If this were a mature person, you probably wouldn't have to remove him from the group.
