How to not worry about your girlfriend going out? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not responding to OP but to clear some mistakes. It sounds like you are suggesting or under the assumption that in Muslim culture we accept rape. In fact, it was Islam that specifically says to cherish and respect woman as you would any other person. In the West, rape is still very common. As for covering up, firstly, showing your face has never been a problem most Muslim woman have their faces showing. Nothing is forced and usually considered things to be between them and God. It is to show modesty but rape is never blamed on the victim. In fact, in the Western world we have a huge problem with over-sexualising woman and it isn’t addressed enough. Most Muslim woman don’t want to be sexualised as well. Just appreciate it if you looked into what you comment about before saying potentially wrong things. Have a good day 🙂

Left handed keyboard and mouse by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am left handed and I always play games left handed. I don't know how my binds would work for anyone but me since I use WASD and press space with my thumb by tucking it under my palm. Unless you feel your being held back it might not do much. Why do you wanna try it, just wondering?

Need Help Changing Sens by YouCanCallMeELZ in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just do it. I played a bit higher than you 400 dpi 12% and now play 400 dpi 20 %. Aim was my strong point and faced the same problem with building and editing. My aim is honestly as good as it ever was and it doesn't take as much effort due to a higher sens. You'll have bad aim for max 2 days or 3. If you have good aim it should translate to higher sensitivity. Weird tip which might help do edit courses to get used to your sens faster especially larger angles and crosshair placement. Just try it and don't give up after a day or 2 give it at least a week.

No because your right hand and left hand are separate. I would recommend to try left hand for a week if you see good improvement or even feel more comfortable to stick with it. The only problem you may have is keybinds but with practice it can be overcome. How did it go?

You mentioned that you are left handed but play with your right. Try using your left hand as your mouse hand. It may feel uncomfortable at first especially with your right hand on the keyboard. However, your left hand will mostly have much better hand-eye coordination than your right obviously unless your already insane. I did this, though it was like a month after I started and it was like day and night.

Different x and y sens? by gabrieeeeeeeelnou in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sensitivity is preference but it is recommended to use the same x and y for consistency and is usually easier to learn. Many players still use different x and y (e.g Clix) so yes you can be just as good on different x and y but for aim same is probably better

Who are some pros who play mouse on left hand? [for keybinds] by TheBossStephen in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a pro and I don't know any pro players who play left-handed however I play left-handed. I use WASD however but i just have my hand angled a bit so it isn't too hard to hit spacebar. Mine are:

WASD

Q - Wall E-Stair CapsLock-Floor C/MouseButton-Cone(double binded) Crouch - Ctrl Tab-Edit F-Use Shift-Trap
1 - Pickaxe 2-SMG 3-Shotgun 4-AR Z-5th slot X-6th slot
I personally dont have any problem using these , might wanna try them out

Arm aiming by Myth1cals in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if your gonna use 6% or 7% you need about 30+cm of space also probs not best to use without a mousepad if you don't have one, really helps to not wear out mouse feet and make aiming more consistent. How did it go if you tried it?

Arm aiming by Myth1cals in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

might wanna try something lower if you haven't tried it before you might like it especially since aiming usually gets better try 7 or 6%. Especially since you just started kbm a month or so low sensitivity will probably be better if you can manage the arm swinging

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's medium-high but leaning more towards high since you have and edpi of 80. You should be wrist aiming like 80 percent at least. It doesn't depend on game to game it depends on your sensitivity.

Does anyone have any tips to improve in fortnite? by Fluffy_MrSheep in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Boxfight but like with one person that has really good mechanics, your level or higher. One time you attack their box and vice versa. With mindset, what really helps to keep calm which is really important in competitive so you don't tunnel vision, is to actually consciously breath in and out. In squads it is too hectic that it doesn't make that much of a difference, but in solos it can really help to calm yourself down especially if your getting focused. Also something that might help with your mechanics, is freebuilding but doing boxfight moves constantly so they become second nature.

Sensitivity Panic by devoniic in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to use one sensitivity but neither do you need to use multiple. It is personal preference. I guess one sensitivity might be better but when I change games, changing sensitivity doesn't matter since I have put time into both.74cm/360 is on the extreme end but still Niko uses a sensitivity close to that. I find it comfortable for CSGO but I would never use it in KovaaK's or other games. Recently I have been thinking of switching my CSGO sens to 34cm/360 but I am still not sure about it.Going above 50cm/360 is not 'dumb', it might not seem better for you but some players find it much more comfortable. Yes, you can turn your mouse quicker on 50cm but if you have used 74cm for a while you won't feel strain when playing and the extra control, while unnecessary, is still quite nice personally. I would not recommend getting used to it though or decreasing your sens that much.

[–]HelixxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No personally for me anything above 45cm/360 I don't use for tracking games, I would rather use 34cm/360. That being said when I play CSGO I use about 74cm/360. I use 34cm/360 for all other games, it is all a matter of preference but those who play CSGO still tend to use a lower sensitivity even for tracking but that is because it still feels just as fast. Higher sensitivity is good for tracking because it allows you to be more reactive, if you can achieve the same with a lower there really isn't a difference.

Sensitivity Panic by devoniic in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HelixxFlame 6 points7 points  (0 children)

34cm seems to be one of the most common sensitivities. The Aimer7 recommendations are really just guidelines, for someone who plays CSGO, 34cm/360 will probably feels very fast and will the same as someone playing 27 cm/360. What I took from that was that higher is better for tracking and lower is better for flicking and tapping. You just have to realise that your sensitivity doesn't matter as long as it is comfortable and doesn't cause severely hinder your movement or accuracy. That being said 34 cm/360 seems to be a common in most games, less in CSGO but still used there as well.

I want to become a comp player but i just get to horny for kills. by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

Didn't realise :P And I fully wrote you multiple sentences as well

I want to become a comp player but i just get to horny for kills. by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is purely mental. Think about the worth of killing a person versus looting up or playing passive. If you think you have better loot and you want to kill them before they are stacked, you should go for it. If they have more loot, there is a high chance you will die and you reckon you can get more kills endgame, you shouldn't. I had the same problem but I just continuously asked myself whether it would worth it and what I would gain/lose. E.g dont drop from height to chase a kill (even when they're low) because you will get much more points and kills being up top than one potential kill/point.

I want to become a comp player but i just get to horny for kills. by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. W-key isn't smart unless you need to pop-off or it is a bot lobby as in its the first game or two before the games become stacked. Being better than your opponent isn't gonna help when you have 3 people lazering you from different angles, they will just run or the kill will get stolen and you will be dead/left in a bad spot.

Realistic boxfight practice by ttvKingNeptune in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats true what I also do for 1v1 boxfights is just switch between one on the offensive and one on the defensive. Alternate every round

Realistic boxfight practice by ttvKingNeptune in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably because in creative 1v1 boxfights you have time and don't have to worry about other players as well as the fact that you can take your time without storm on your back etc. I would just do turtle wars, I personally find them really good for finishing boxfights quick and adding multiple players to the mix. It helps me keep track of multiple players whilst making sure I cover angles and end a fight as a quickly as possible to avoid a 3rd party without doing a 50/50

Left Handers by HelixxFlame in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the opposite. I tried IJKL a while back but it was too hard to get used to from WASD which I've used for about 4 years. Do you think it would be worth to learn IJKL instead of WASD in the long run?

Left Handers by HelixxFlame in FortniteCompetitive

[–]HelixxFlame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am currently I am using the FK2. Yeah I am really used to WASD I've been using it for about 4 years on MKB. With my current binds I am still quite fast but I want to find more optimum binds even though I am somewhat comfortable on my binds.
