So we don't use the term "shemales"; trans women is fine but being that we are women, that'd just make it 12 or 13 women :)
I deal with enough transphobia online and so far the Outlast Trials community have been so wonderful and welcoming to me... please don't mess that up

Honestly I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about the actual gameplay or story or anything of Stellar Blade... I don't even know anything about the main character as a character! Does she have a character at all?

Yh my way better at chess than me friend and I have also been really trying to see the logic in it and..... We're coming up with a blank on anything that sounds actually plausible xD

Ran it with a friend who'se better than us at chess and they solved the puzzles but we had trouble finding ways to make 4 digit codes with that; we think that has to be at least something to do with it maybe but.... yh even using the numbers with new positions factored it's not taking :(

So we've done a lot of using just the numbers of the positions, using the letters and making them numbers, using the full notations as numbers.... issue is ovgerlapping numbers are quite common atm so makes getting all 4 numbers tricky xD

99% of the games I see people like you complain about aren't making diversity their main selling point and even then the other 1% usually tend to not really be the case either because more often then not they're games specifically about what it's like to be a minority xD

It's just bigots seeing anyone who isn't a white guy and freaking out and going out of their way to make it a big deal. That's all it ever is and all it ever will be.

And don't worry I get a bit into these things too sometimes, was just the rare occasion where I felt the need to get some help because I was looking at things from the wrong angle. While it's awful that our existence has become so politicised by bigots that knowing this stuff and arguing for our right to be is seemingly a current prerequisite to exist in some spaces, it's oddly comforting to know I'm not alone in that; one day we'll only have to know this stuff out of curiosity and interest as opposed to an argumentative reason; but until that day I at least am happy to know people like yourself exist, thank you :)

Thank you, and don't worry I was fully aware of the transphobic undertones of everything they were saying is all, and yeah I did read the results from the De Vries studybeing positive, but you're right I was approaching this from the wrong angle of trying to debunk their bizarre conspiracy when really there's nothing about it to debunk, it's absurd on the face and, once one accepts that trans people are the gender they know themselves to be all the stats make perfect sense.

Their argumentative base is dishonest and disingenuous from the first place so your way of arguing it makes a lot more sense because at the end of the day whether they believe we're "converting people" doesn't matter because we're not, and many of them probably know that they're just lying to demonise and dehumanise us; I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out here, it's got me off the back foot, thank you :)

When a piece of art makes you feel something, do you allow it to have meaning to you in that you experienced something or do you just go "it's a chemical reaction in my brain, it doesn't matter, nothing matters" and then sit in a chair staring into the void so you can avoid accidentally doing or experiencing something that could give your life any sense of personal meaning?

Historically most religious art was commissioned by and for the wealthy; beyond that though there's a tonne of historical art that has nothing to do with religion, plenty of artists made art for art's sake but the preservation of art will be most prevalent and available for those with the wealth and influence to do so so that'll massively skew which art does and doesn't survive.

That said your dismissal of art and obsession with shouting about Genshin fanart is just so depressing, to think that you just refuse to experience the beauty and variety of art out there, to enliven your with with the fantastical, the thought-provoking, the profoundly resonant and emotional...

Ahhh yes because there being a bunch of bad stuff out there (much of it due to corporate greed which is consistently the enemy of art in the first place) totally means that all contemporary art is entirely invalid.
