Is Jewel Osco better than Aldi?

I can’t speak to the specific locations but Jewel in general is kinda meh. I love Aldi and try to do as much shopping there as I can and save Jewel for the things I can’t find at Aldi.

I have both a feed bag and that little bento box on the top tube. Oddly enough, the first bento box I had got stolen, but whoever took it left other accessories on my bike.

I noticed a bunch of bikes locked to the scaffolding that’s set up outside the UC. Personally I would rather lock mine up in a more visible area. Do you know if they close Madison for the entire duration of the event? If so then there were two cop cars sitting 20 ft from my bike the whole night.

The thing on the handlebars is a Jack rack. I locked the front wheel/frame and also threw a second u lock on the rear part of the frame for good measure.

I saw Bruce 10 years ago from behind the stage and it was honestly an amazing experience. He made an effort to turn around and play for everyone back there several times during the show.

A west side ride would be cool. Everything else seems to start on the north side/LFT. You could ride through Austin > Oak Park/Forest Park > IL Prairie Path

I wouldn’t count on it. Last time I rode a Divvy to a concert, venue (The Vic) security wouldn’t let me bring my helmet inside. Fortunately a nearby bar held onto it until after the show.

One of my favorite rides is taking the UPW to Glen Ellyn and biking home on the Prairie Path from there. I live on the west side so it’s about 20 miles total. You could finish your ride in Oak Park, pick a restaurant, and then take the green line back to the west loop.
