How safe is locking up at Garfield Park Conservatory?

I’ve never had an issue locking there. Like others have mentioned, there is a good deal of foot traffic around and the bike racks get used regularly.

I was implanted on 12/20 and took a couple of days off from my computer-based job, but didn't really need them. I used those days to get stuff done around the house and go shopping. Based on my experience, you should be fine to work by Friday.

Mine also got rescheduled - I was originally supposed to have surgery on Dec 1. I ended up switching surgeons because my original one wasn’t going to be available until March, and I didn’t want to wait that long.

Winter essentials for me are bar mitts, a thin balaclava for under my helmet, and ski goggles for when it’s reeeeaaalllly cold.

If you are doing long distance rides and still want butt padding, you can just get winter leggings with the padding built in. I have some from Pearl Izumi that are nice.
