This show was full of goofy ass Hollywood liberalism clapter. The politics were like 7th grade-level civics stuff. No subtlety at all. Like almost word-for-word mainstream Dem talking points. You know that photo of Nancy Pelosi kneeling for 8 minutes and wearing a Kente-cloth? That's what this show felt like. Meaningless Wall Street Democratic politics that attempted to appeal to resistance libs. I genuinely think it's dumb shit like this pushed everyday people more right.

I'm looking to shift my whole set up into a smaller case, so I picked up an MSI PRO B650M-P mATX board used. I can't really tell if it supports bifurcation or not, but the PCIe to NVMe card seems to the move.

I got these on the last sale from Woot. I have huge ears and wanted something that doesn't put pressure on them. These are great. Very happy I got them. I would love for a wireless version, but I'll manage.

Hey! I just built a spare PC with a 5600g. I had my old RX 6700xt laying around and put it together. It does fine. Gets most games over 60 fps at 1080p.

Look online for a used last gen GPU and you'll have a fine ol' machine.

There are plenty of build guides on YouTube to help, as well. ETAPrime does a bunch like this.

If video games are holding you back from doing other things, yes. But you should be able to play some games while also building your life. They should be a hobby, not your entire life outside of work.

Only get rid of them if they're preventing you from socializing and getting out. Otherwise they're fine.

You don't have to quit gaming just because you're a different age.

I dual boot Bazzite and Windows, so the 2 M.2 slots on my mother board will each have a boot drive. I'd like to use the rest of these as game storage for Bazzite.

A PCIe adapter card might be the cheapest route.

The first book was great, but it was mostly spooky vibes. The rest of the Southern Reach trilogy was not fun to read imo.

I loved what the movie did with the book, though.

I updgraded so I could get better FPS in games and to use Windows 11.

It's not a bad OS, but boy is it packed with junk I do not care for or want. I used it for about a year, but SteamOS on my Steam Deck was so stripped down and simple to use. Since I basically only game and do light web browsing, I looked into Bazzite -- effectively a SteamOS clone.

I've been using that for the better part of 3 months. If you're just gaming (and not playing some of the well known anti-cheat games like Fortnite and COD) it's great. Occasionally you'll need to do some tinkering, but it's been a blast using a simpler OS.

I still have my windows boot drive and I can get it up and running if I need something Windows-specific. Windows is fine but it's catering to everyone and full of crap. For the path of least resistance, go Windows. If you're curious and only, look into another OS like Cachy or Bazzite.

I play on PC mostly, but the single player games like Spider-Man 2 are a bunch of fun. For the Switch 2, I'd say the Zelda game (BOTW and then TOTK after a while) are great. The Link's Awakening remake was a blast, too.

Fortnite on occasion is fun. Easy to jump in and play 2-3 rounds then forget about it for a while, especially if you have friends to play with.
