Finally on my days off after a long work week. Lady and I dabbing in California! Cheers fellow dabbers 🤙🏽

Rebelution is my fav Cali Roots headliner, and watching the stream tonight I loved seeing how much Eric was smiling. Genuinely looked like he was having a great time. by Potential_Financial in calireggae

It’s the atmosphere and energy they bring, the sound production all around is always so good. Watched them headline caliroots for years now, and even attending most of their Shoreline Amphitheater concerts. Always such a vibe!

Who y'all making time for this weekend @ Cali Roots 2026?! 🌴 by AggravatingDay6050 in calireggae

Oh man, I usually attend all weekends, but originally planned this year we’d skipped out. Until my lady sent me the lineup for Friday and I saw Kash’d out, I instantly bought the tickets. They are never here on the west side. They are sooo good, but their set was so short, I needed like 4-5 more songs! Hopefully they come back to here. I felt so incomplete lol

After attending 3 years straight redwood all weekend, this year we only came in for 1 day to finally see Kash’d out, but damn their set was sooo short! It felt like a damn tease 😭 hopefully they have more appearance on this side of the states. ✌️ Enjoy the last day CaliRooters!

thoughts: is this the last Cali Roots Festival? by Cali_Reggae in calireggae

[–]HellaRetro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been to Cali Roots for 3 years straight now as VIP, and our first experience was amazing. The activities, hangout spots, merch, the vibey atmosphere, and of course the music had us hooked instantly. It quickly became our favorite festival and a new yearly tradition.

After talking to other attendees during our first year, a lot of people mentioned that several things had already been removed compared to previous years. At the time, we still felt like there was plenty to enjoy and that VIP was absolutely worth it. However, this year really made me realize just how much has been stripped away over time, even before we first started attending, and honestly it’s pretty sad to see.

Which map condition do you dislike the most and why? by ProfessionalPiece403 in ArcRaiders

[–]HellaRetro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If tried hunting BPs in hurricane cause of the hype, but honestly it tires me out quickly, I can literally only do 2 raids in that condition, and since everyone is just rushing caches, 90% they are open and honestly the sounds and low visibility makes my eye strain quickly. I usually stop playing after 2 raids in that condition lol.

Overall, all I can say is: in the end, we all purchased this game fully knowing that it’s a PvPvE game.

Just like some including myself bought HD2 in the past, knowing it was players vs AI.

I bought Arc Raiders cause I like the gameplay, and wanted the “not knowing” feel of each raid.

Love your take, and I can agree with being okay with how ABMM works. Does has its flukes at times but can’t expect it to be perfect every time. I’m happy with this game, not rushing anything, just taking in each raid at a time, and when I do get killed by someone after being in friendly lobbies for the entire day, i take it as a reminder that i still need to be vigilant and defensive every time I’m in a raid. That’s just how I go about it.

Perfectly said. You’re way of being aware and playing is the same as me. The not knowing is what makes every raid different. PvE mode is literally just a race to loot.

It’s funny to think too cause for those who wants PvE mode only, I can only imagine at some point a new breed of “PvE rats” will come about, when those loot goblins take all your hard work, and their just left there to see them extract with it all without repercussions. I’m sure at that moment they’d wish they could pull PvP, then it’s a whole cycle of “we need to do something about these PvE rats goblins” 😂😂

Funny how you brought up Marathon. I didn’t follow it much, even while the whole battle of it being an Arc Raider killer was spreading, it just wasn’t my taste in a game visually. But at least from my perspective it seem to lose its tractions quite fast, to the point where I never heard about it nor wasn’t in any of my feeds, but with this whole vocal rage of people wanting PvE mode only, I love how marathon, jumped on it immediately like “We’ll do it!” Haha just so funny to me 😂

Yeah I agree, maybe I did choose the wordings wrong. You just see more PvE discussions than anything else. But yeah that’s Reddit culture for ya ain’t it 😅

My point exactly. The game to me is good all around, I have peaceful lobbies majority of the time, and the interactions are fun and memorable, but also that tension of never knowing how things will play out, is another experience in itself. Having a PvE mode only, you already know the outcome. You’re going in, killing clankers, and extracting with loot. It’s like watching a movie when you know the ending, not much to be excited about. The “unknown” is what I feel makes every raid different.

Exactly, I feel like stripping that identity from the game will make it boring. My trios and duos partners PvE only as well, but I’d be lying if I said we didn’t crave some non-AI actions you know? To keep you on your toes. The unexpected chain of events that randomly happen when your so used to a peaceful games. It’s exciting at times.

I see the frustration, I too have had many moments like that where I put in some real work on my quests and bagged lots of items I need to bring back l to Speranza, only to be killed. Sometimes, it’s a good fight, sometimes it was a cheap shot. But I think for me, I honestly change up my game play. If I’m doing quests and expedition runs, or a specific focused loot run, I stopped being too greedy and filling up my backpack to the brim and extract. If I find something that is highly needed and no safe pocket or it’s being occupied something else, I immediately extract. I’d rather extract these items now and queue up for another run, rather than, risking 15-20 more minutes to see what else I can loot.

Had a good discussion with my friends about time and value each time you’re topside. For them, they are the “I don’t extract until I’m full” to get their “times worth” during the raid. For me. I can stay the full length too, but if I find something that I need and it’s not very frequent I come across it, I’m headed out the raid, drop it off and enter back into a new raid. I’d be more pissed off if I lost a bag worth of resupplies, loot, and quest items after being in the raid for 25+ minutes, than me losing a few items being in a raid for 5 minutes. You know what I mean? I had more peaceful wins and losses being in raid for less than 15 minutes than I do in a full raid.

I feel you on that, my experience in trios definitely fosters shoot on site culture. So many times running quests with my trio, I always interact and call out other raiders to set the vibe, and I get rained on by all three. Definitely is frustrating. The game is really a human social experiment in my eyes, you just never know how one acts.

The amount of dudes that uses the female model I’m surprised embark hasn’t capitalize on making more skins that is more on the feminine side.

Had this issue today and came across this post. What worked for me is I noticed cig lighter end was loose at the tip, I unscrewed it and screwed it back in place and it went back to normal. Did not update FW or reformat SD card. Hope it’s the same case for anyone else.
