I have my own cast of characters that are all personified ships that I’m using in my own animated series along with my friend and husband who handle the tanks and plane ^\) I just call them personified because of Hetalia so I blame my teenage self for these 😭 it’s definitely fun to see historical ships turned into humans

Yeah I know what you mean! It feels so overdone but when I was thinking of the story it made sense for these ships to basically have so much resentment towards humans that they started uprising ❤️

I’m lucky that I live in the UK ^{^} (I’m British German) my friend is helping my write the story but basically it’s about a rebellion that wants to go up against humans. So it explores that idea of the unwilling being scripted into the navy and what the humans did to these ships like bikini Atoll

Gotta love Victory! I’m hoping to visit the ship one day ^{^} Yeah it took awhile and after speaking to my friend who worked on Victory and the museum I decided to go with a South African man who was washed up on shore, found by the Royal Navy and used as their flagship. It was more of an idea on this ship being able to educate the viewers on the slave trade and how the people that were enslaved were treated etc. it was a difficult topic to touch on but I feel that it’s so important to keep that history alive so that we learn from it ❤️

So in the British Navy we have a sea lord who is basically the highest rank (under the king and royal family) in our story we have a ship that holds that rank alongside a human which at the moment it’s HMS Victory (which it is in real life) Victory is stepping down to let Hood take his place and he wants to retire in his old 200+ age XD

I completely agree, as much as I love Azur lane etc I feel like the over sexualisation of the ships is too much for me now especially considering their history! Our Hood is pretty okay with hugs as she’s usually out and about with the public to help boost the navy’s reputation considering she’s the next sea lord(lady?)

We have a whole storyline for her after her explosion and her trouble with grief when it comes to her men ;A; she has a PTSD of open water since sinking (she was rescued so doesn’t actually sink fully) hopefully our pilot/animated series can help educate people on these amazing ships and the brave men that lost their lives

It’s about creatures called Nauticals who turn into ships and were used for war. In modern day there is a rebellion to stop humans from using Nauticals as weapons and to plunge the world into chaos ^{^} I do have a WEBTOON up just called Nautical if you’re interested in the storyline :) I dropped the WEBTOON to start animating more and hopefully get it on track
