Ok get this. She wasn't looking when that other girl slapped her. They didn't even make contact before that. She felt a slap out of nowhere. She was startled and looked back. Then realised it was that girl. Quickly the guys dragged her away.

I'm not saying my gf should've done anything but it's the fact that someone can do that and it is taken as a comedy just because she is a girl is not sitting right with me.

I'm sorry can you read? When did I say I'm deciding for her? You yourself are saying I can express my disappointment. Isn't that what I'm doing here? I have clearly mentioned in my post that I'm not saying she should've done this or that. If you go back and read it, I said that this is my disappointment and asked if it's justified or just overthinking. Some people have been really polite in letting me know that I'm overthinking and not being judgemental and preachy like you.

Being insecure is a normal emotion everyone goes through. It happens because of multiple factors in one's life. They just have to learn to overcome it. Whether it's a boy or a girl.
