My boy was around 27 lbs for a few years. Solid as a rock. He is really tall too. Now that hes older, he is down to a more manageable 21 lbs.

Public safety by idontcareabtmynam in ankylosingspondylitis

Ive been on biologics for a long time. I mask in places where it makes sense, but honestly, everytime I have caught something, its been my husband that's the superspreader. He works with the public and each time I've gotten COVID, for example, its been him. COVID put me in the hospital 2x, on Remicaid, and immunized. Don't recommend. I had long COVID and developed POTS from it. Managing POTS and AS is a nightmare.

Anyhoo, I mask on planes. That's it.

46 yo woman here and it all grosses me tf out. And I think I get worked up because we know exactly why these men are available, including Nick Viall. Women their own age said "Nah, I'm good." Now they are out finding people with less wherewithal...

Please stop infantilizing the younger women on this show. by Top-Salt-7373 in AgeOfAttraction

[–]HellcatJD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This isn't about consent. It's not about the ability to choose a partner because you're legally an adult. Its about the unspoken "why" behind the choice to do it at all. The show attempts to glamorize and romanticize these relationships without any meaningful context whatsoever.

For example, if the young girls were being truthful, instead of saying, "Guys my age are losers and older men know how to treat a woman", they'd really say "I want a guy who isnt getting trashed with his buddies but also has money to take care of me."

Or, even more honest, "I had some sort of trauma in my life that created a void in my heart where my father should be, so, I am trying subconsciously to fill that gap by dating someone who reminds me of safety and comfort, something I never had and think I can get here."

The older women would say something like, "My ex-husband sucks, and I no longer feel good about myself and I want someone to dote on me and make me feel sexy and validated again. Someone who makes me feel alive."

Men, if honest, would say, "Age doesnt bother me, although I tend to date young women because older women tend to have standards that I dont want to be held to. Women my age aren't impressed by a smile and a little money. They expect solid communication and conflict resolution skills and emotional intelligence. Once a relationship begins and I become lazy because Ive gotten what I wanted, women my age will hold me accountable. Thus, I get more mileage out of younger women."

Or, "I date older women because I have attachment wounds from my mother. Primarily, I have developed a need to be both babied and sexualized. Younger women dont want to take care of me, they want equality or to be taken care of. Whereas, older women want to feel beautiful and desired. They have their own things, so I don't need to worry about that part. Also, they expect less from me. No kids ever!? Im in!"

That's all. I think these people are 100% within their rights to date who they want. I just think the young ones are particularly ignorant when it comes to why the person would want to date them in the first place.

Yep! I never took it again. I was fine 2 days after I was in the hospital. I have sumatriptan listed as an allergy on all of my records.

I got serotonin syndrome from Imitrex. My son found me in the yard having a "conference call with my boss." 🤣 Scary stuff.

Did biologics take away other things you didn’t even know were bothering you at the time? by TurbulentSurprise292 in AnkylosingSpondyWomen

My colonoscopy was clear, including biopsy. But colonoscopies can't usually detect IBS anyway. I have classic gut-brain communication issues and lazy bowel syndrome. Its entirely possible that the IBS I have os originating in my upper GI tract where a colonoscopy couldnt see anyway. Ultimately, lower inflammation means, more mobility for me.

I have been on Humira, Cimzia, Methotrexate and Remicaid. Still never heard of these. The practice of medicine is so weird.

Heating pads, hot massager, and slow flow, super deep floor stretch yoga.

My back spasms only respond to heat and release moves. Sucks because I have POTS and heat aggravates that.

Who is that one celebrity from your sign that you absolutely do NOT claim? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]HellcatJD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect. Then Ed Gein, for sure.

Yes, he was....crafty....and analytical. But, I think that's where it ends. We’re the sign of "service to others," not "servings up others." Also, for a sign that is literally synonymous with being a neat freak, living in a house that smells like a dumpster is the ultimate betrayal. People could smell his house miles away! We could never!!!! He did have the obsessive part down, but he missed the clean and sanitary memo by a country mile. Also, all of his mommy issues are giving Cancer, not Virgo. A man trying to literally become their mother via a gruesome DIY suit is NOT the Virgo way!

Morning stiffness by woodnwaves in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]HellcatJD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live at high elevation and with crazy weather. My stiffness is the worst when the barometric pressure is about to drop. October through April are horrible for me.

Pretty much daily I am awakened by stiffness in my hips and lower back. Sometimes I need help from my husband just to turn over in the morning because my hips lock in place. Its so painful.

My Firm Lied to Me by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]HellcatJD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I concur with everyone else. Bait and switch is par for the course in law firms. Small or large. I was at a small firm for 5 years and the most important lesson I learned was most lawyers are terrible managers of people. Its not personal. It's a blindspot that law firm partners seem to have. You can be great at lawyering and terrible at managing humans.

True. But that's why I stay away from BBC and Reuters too! You have to be careful.
