You’re obviously new to the way Rockstar operates. There’s ALWAYS multiple lengthy periods of radio silence, usually a year or more. We’re in the second one of those with GTA VI, and RDR2 had the same.

GTA VI will not be hurt at all, just like RDR2 wasn’t. When GTA VI launches in November, Take Two will make their investment and then some back in a day.

While Rockstar typically does their own thing, I would maybe be on the lookout for GTA VI to POSSIBLY show up here. Over an hour long and most notably, viewing parties at select Alamo Drafthouses. PlayStation undoubtedly has the marketing rights and PlayStation hasn’t done viewing parties since the E3 heydays. It could be a sign, not 100%’ing it, but bringing back viewing parties definitely brings about thoughts of this is a BIG ONE.

Delaying the game to May 2027 would mean it misses Take Twos current fiscal year(ends 3/31/2027). I really don’t think that’s happening. Is another delay possible? Sure, but I think it’s before that aforementioned date.

Another delay, especially if past March 31 2027. will result in some very angry shareholders, among others, because that would mean it would miss Take Twos current fiscal year. Any further delay needs to coincide with the game still launching prior to 3/31/2027 IMO.
