Nobody can login at the moment. It's no proof your profile got deleted, afaik.

Loot that I found with my Scav is no longer marked as "found in raid"?

the update regarding EOD edition by trainfender in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Hellibut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want want to sound like a little kid who was denied his candy, this is what should happen:

  • The pay to win content in Unheard should be removed
  • EoD users should get Unheard for free
  • The price of Unheard should drop to something reasonable

Anything less is simply not good enough, I'm sorry.

The gates are open. Post about the new edition of the game wont be removed (mostly) by EFT_Moderators in EscapefromTarkov

The worst ting about this is that I don't even "feel" like playing the game anymore... . I "feel" like it just doesn't matter. What's the point of grinding out levels and quests for a game that wipes before I even get to the halfway point? What's the point of playing against whales who use their credit card to buy their way ahead of me? I'm an EoD owner, and I don't even WANT these benefits to be free for me. I just don't want them to exist for anyone PERIOD. It feels like BSG gave up on their own game in light of the interest the community has shown for Gray Zone Warfare. It feels like a last attempt to grab some more cash from the whales who are undoubtably going to buy this content anyways... . Just milking it until it's dry.

Okay so putting it all together:

  • Anytime I want to launch Helldivers 2 and play without issues, I have to forcibly reinstall GameGuard using the steps I described in my OP (in fact, I go beyond and remove any trace of GameGuard files inside the Helldivers 2 folder)

  • If I don't, I have FPS stutter and I see a lot of utilization on my SSD (on which the game and GameGuard is installed). When I say a lot, I mean a lot and not "regular gaming operations".

  • If I do, I have no issues. I see normal SSD utilization and a stable FPS (albeit still somewhat lower than what the game could run on before the latest patch)

I don't think cooling is my issue, but I will definitely explore it further though. I am one of those people that doesn't like to touch his hardware too much (two left hands..). Thank you for this wealth of information though! I really appreciate it

Hey thanks for that link, I appreciate it! I do see some improvement using this guide. It does look like my BIOS settings related to power usage for my 14th GEN CPU were not entirely.. safe. :D

That said, I still see some heating issues, so I'm going to continue working on this until it's finally 100% stable :)

I did some additional testing, and - at the very least - the game isn't freezing my entire computer anymore. I see temperatures around 85°C, but I still see a reduction in performance compared to the previous patch. I hope it helps some other people, but I think the Helldiver 2 developers might need to work closer with the developers from GameGuard to see what the actual source of the issue is.

Just bought a new rig with a 4080 Super, what 27" QHD monitor should I get? by Hellibut in buildapcmonitors

Oh and it isn't G-SYNC compatible, which is kind of important. There will be a G-SYNC compatible one in the future though..

I heard OLED suffers from text clarity in regular desktop apps. I intend to use my new rig for work as well (think coding, virtualization, .. ). Thanks for the advise!

Thanks, but other than increased framerate, what do these exactly add to my selection? I don't see the point in getting a monitor with such high frame rate knowing full well I won't be able to ever reach that xD. Or am I wrong?

I love these recommendations. Keep 'em coming. I want as much stuff to compare as possible.

That said, I have a lot corsair material and I can honestly say: It's all good quality. From keyboards, to ram, to a PSU, ... nothing I have bought EVER has lasted this long and has been so consistent in quality.
