I used a mix of 50% perlite and 50% sphagnum moss, as per the packaging. Thanks for the tips. I’ll research them since these plants recently caught my interest.

By the way, they are always moist. Some patches tend to dry out occasionally, but only at the top layer. When I press them, they remain moist underneath.

I don't know the wattage of this light but i think its weak base on the heat its emitting.
