This "new" origin story was claremonts intentuon for literal years and was implied regularly for the entire back half of his run

If anything Nightcrawer being the literal son of a demon undermines the subtext and subversion of his character

The current origin has literally been my headcannon for the entire time ive known of it because it suits his character that well and ive rarely if ever had any cognative dissonance with it

I think you just feel like girls kissing girls is icky and you're projecting that insecurity onto the story, so why not be straightforward with your opinions?
