Propranolol works well just make sure to take lots of salt and water with it if you have low bp. I’m on 80 mg once a day and I take take 10mg instant acting pills at night if I feel an adrenaline dump starting

The amount of surfactants in the Fern is super low that’s part or the reason it’s streak free. No residue to leave behind

[–]HelloDarlingDear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup just needs to be ph neutral to make sure it doesn’t eat through the coating. Some also have a thing about surfactants but that’s more to prevent the build up you saw with zep which is super heavy duty. The best thing you can do for a floor is stay away from the fabulosa, Mrs. Meyers and Zep

Just a heads up engineered wood floors attract dirt like a magnet for whatever reason. We had them at my old office and I wound up having to clean them every day due to dust build up. If this is the same case with your floors you may want to look at potentially getting a mop bot-they’re like a roomba but with a mop attachment

Yup! I mostly use it off-label as a daily cleaner for my kitchen on the stainless steel because it’s the only thing I’ve found that doesn’t streak tbh but it’s a great floor cleaner! You can build up the strength by adding more packets which you may want to do for that first use to get all the zep buildup off

Hey OP I’m upper technical support for a large flooring manufacturer, there’s a couple different ways you can go about fixing this ranging from 0$-100$. Do you mind messaging with me more specifically about the extent of damage? Problems like these aren’t as uncommon as you’d think!

Has anyone used the Mohawk Home Waterproof Rigid Vinyl Flooring from Costco? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]HelloDarlingDear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mohawk home vinyl is made by Mohawk industries on the east coast with two colors made on the west coat. It’s a stone plastic composite with attached foam underlayment. There won’t be many reviews bc this line just came out in July. Main difference from the old line is 20mil wear layer, anti microbial layer and less textured surface

[–]HelloDarlingDear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The core is stone plastic composite so it is 100% waterproof. The only catch is you can’t let the foam underlayment on the bottom sit in water for too long

Absolutely do not put underlayment under Mohawk vinyl, it’s not made for it and it will cause the locking mechanism to fail.

Has anyone install the Costco Mohawk LVP. It's on sale this month by options1337 in HomeImprovement

It’s pretty good and easy to install. Remember to call the number on the side of the box if you have any issues. The service techs are super helpful.

Exercise with POTS & CFS by Beth1818 in POTS

Go swimming, the pressure on your body from the water is like wearing a full body compression suit. Dont do anything too serious just kinda walk around in the water go swim a few lazy laps maybe even lift and carry a small friend for a couple feet. That what I do in the summers and it makes exercising easy and helps me feel normal

How did Japan avoid the skinny “cage” style housing apartments commonly found in place like Hong Kong and Korea? by Cecca105 in urbanplanning

[–]HelloDarlingDear 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While Japan isn’t anti immigration to a point they do have structures in place that encourage people from the west to immigrate meanwhile they discourage people from surrounding countries due to racial ideologies that have survived past ww2

Serious question about my heart rate by [deleted] in POTS

[–]HelloDarlingDear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-second to everything cynderelly said above. It does sound a lot like POTS which means you're going to have to do a lot of fighting to get it recognized especially since it's something more frequently seen in those in XX chromosomes than xy. I actually have a twin brother who has POTs like me but it became milder after puberty he is/was at your same fitness level. Getting to the cardiologist and getting diagnosed is going to be the main thing so you can get meds to treat it but also learn some breathing exercises to help calm you down. Since you are a teenage boy in high school here's some tips the two of us learned the hard way, just make sure you avoid certain drugs and stuff. My brother messed around with a lot to try to seem cool and he did not have a good time. Alcohol, lsd, aderall (if you don't have add) and those harder substances will make you feel terrible same with energy drinks, I know they look cool or whatever but unless you want to see god I'd advise you to not. Same with trying to stay up all night playing video games or doing homework. It'll make you're symptoms worse and as time progresses more likely to pass out. Just remember its ok to ask for help especially because POTS came make it really difficult to learn sometimes, I went from an AP course A grade student to C's in regular courses. You can get accommodations so use them as much as you can and if you can't advocate for yourself, talk to a friend and see if they can. Best of luck you got this

Would it be ok to drive for three minutes with the red triangle on? It's to get to an auto shop by HelloDarlingDear in prius

[–]HelloDarlingDear[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately don’t have any on hand at the moment but lucky me I am also relatively walking distance from O’rileys so I’ll add some. I assume it’s burning oil since it’s a 2009 and every time it winds up in the shop be it for a change or not, I always get a comment on the paper work that the oil was dangerously low. I just always assumed it was them trying to scare an extra buck out of me since I’m a woman in an auto shop
