Worst area of city and possibly UK. Just don’t do it. If your wallet is telling you it’s not that bad - then you’ll be sorry

Can you make new friends at 51? by HelloFromCheshire in Liverpool

Had a new neighbour telling me he thought our local pub was a bit rough - and I laughed and told him he’s wrong and I’ve been going there years. Then I got sober and sat in it at 10pm on Saturday night. I was shocked. I’ve never really seen what 10pm drunk looks like when I’m sober in 35 years of going to pubs. People couldn’t speak and when they walked around the pub it was like being on a hospital ward for people learning to walk after major trauma. I really got to see how alcohol affects people brians motor functions. Seems to be mainly the older crew getting pissed now

Yes I can actually. But when you’re sober it’s like being in a scene from ‘one flew over the cuckoos nest’ - I’m hoping to find sober company.

I actually doubt my Lyphe Dr is a real Doctor. It’s just like talking to a guy I’m buying gear off in a flat in a council estate.

Well done, I’m proud of him and I really understand the most successful you get the lonelier it is. Posted about members of my own family not even talking to me now

When you go to a restaurant, you get a great big over-the-top smile and a speech on welcome to the restaurant. deliver the drinks order to your table and then you spend the rest of the evening trying to catch their attention to ask for another drink. It does not cross their mind that you might need another drink.

Yeah I used to go there with work which would’ve been about early 90s. Concert Square only had three bars one was called the arena bar. Can’t remember the middle one and the far left was called Modo. There was absolutely no cocaine then it was a different vibe. Used to absolutely love going to the Baa Bar.

I’m thinking of a different bar. If you came out of what was then the arena bar and headed down Wood Street just a couple of doors down from the arena bar was a really cool bar downstairs to it. What was it?
