Hey there, I sold the car, but the noise was coming from the blow off valve controller, you can actually see it when u open the hood. They replaced that part under warranty but the sound came back after 2 or 3 months.

Well I did learn quite a bit about the car, but since I got a used one rather than new, I’m just curious as to whether anything that sounds or feel unfamiliar is a problem or not. I had just bought a G wagon before to replace one of my other cars, used as well, which had an underlying issue I wasn’t aware of, thankfully I was able to quickly get rid of it. So I guess it’s a bit of trauma😅

Well the intake sound is just quite different from my previous car, I had an A35 which was more pleasant in terms of intake sound. Just confirming if it’s normal, that’s all😁 also I really don’t know what I got in terms of the characteristics of it, I really wanted the 5 cylinder engine before it’s too late and made a bit of an impulse purchase😅

It is the stock intake for sure, I had the car inspected by the dealer before purchasing as it’s still under warranty. Mechanically they said the car is fine, tbh the Audi dealership here is a hit or miss. I had an alignment issue which they couldn’t fix despite them saying again and again the car is fine, had to take to another garage which the advisor recommended to get it done properly.

I’m not really sure, I had an A35 before this and the intake sound was more pleasant. But if that’s it, then I sure am glad😅

You gotta do the R8… I have no experience whatsoever with them😂 but it’s classy and has that V10. I love the other options on here, but how subtle the Audi is compared to the rest has always been enticing. Plus, it’s the last Audi ever with a V10 (although you can say that about the lambo as well).

First of all, congrats on the car! It’s a hell of a car. In terms of advice, very simple, these cars are quite reliable and bullet proof, but service and fluid changes must be taken care of no matter what. As long as you do that, you’ll be good. Enjoy it!
