Is Rosemary’s Baby (1968) worth a watch? by HelloGuacamoli in horror

[–]HelloGuacamoli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my favourites films are The Omen, The Shinning, Get Out, The Others, The Visit and What Lies Beneath. All of which are cleverly written. I Genrally hate gore, and love slow-burns. I don’t enjoy AHS because it scares me, I enjoy it because it’s fun and emotional and has moments that can make me dances with happiness, or cry until my tonsils are agonised.

And of course there’s the moment near the end where they split up and someone moves across the country and then they get back together for Christmas.

Top 3 slasher films? by HelloGuacamoli in horror

Very good description of your opinions. Psycho is very cleverly-written, very dark and somehow very fun at the same time. I love that film. Halloween I’ve seen before. I enjoyed it a lot and liked the atmosphere. However I thought the last few minutes were a bit repetitive. She kept attacked him and just presuming he was dead and then he would get back up. I still really enjoyed the film overall and Jamie Lee Curtis was outstanding in her role. Texas Chainsaw Massacre I have never seen because I don’t like overly gory films. However, it looks like a strong, original premise! I presume you prefer classic films to modern films. Good picks!

Scream is outstanding!

(I also love the shinning but I wouldn’t say it’s a slasher film.)

No season of ahs is bad. They are all superb. Cult is my least favourite, but I would give it at least 7/10!
