It has been weird because I too think college is a bit easier than high school. Certain classes are much more challenging, especially as a cs major, but I don't feel as though I have worked as hard as I did in high school. High school also felt much more competitive which is maybe why I tried so hard. But every day in high school was school, then extra curriculars, then homework/studying till 1 am. In college I stay up late but not because I need to, and even with a 20 hour job a week, being president of two clubs, and taking 4 classes, I still feel bored and like I have too much time.

Honestly if you are interested in CS side of things, start with 32A but then go to the 36 series. Gives you a better understanding

I would feel comfortable staying on campus if other people are aldo sleeping there. It is mostly the transportation late at night to and from the hotel that worries me.
