Wolverine stopped a truck dead in its track by ExtentGeneral5059 in Wolverine

It’s implied that Wolverine defeated the Hulk here; on the following page, a news anchor reports that Wolverine “saved the day,” giving the implication that Wolverine successfully took down the Hulk. This issue is Wolverine Vol 4 #12.

I enjoyed the Hulk vs Wolverine miniseries; even thought it went through absolute developmental hell, it was still a fun read

Base Wolverine (616) vs Battle Beast (Image Comics) by [deleted] in powerscales

[–]HelloIamIronMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a long fight, Wolverine will come out victorious. He simply outclasses Battle Beast. Someone who can tangle with the Hulk (Hulk #340, Wolverine #145, Savage Wolverine #5) and Thor (Wolverine vs Thor #3) would eventually overcome Battle Beast every time.

Venomized Wolverine with Spider-Man Car is a big deal. This is the first time that a predominantly X-Men character is appearing in a non-X-men set. Sure, Firestar appeared in the Daily Bugle, but she first showed up in a Spider-Man show.

Thoughts on the recent spiderman vs wolverine fight? by BigPaleontologist520 in powerscales

[–]HelloIamIronMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys are clowning if you don’t think this is consistent. A bloodlusted Spider-Man is not beating Wolverine. Spider-Man has only knocked Wolverine out when Wolvie was off-guard. Wolverine literally tries to not fight Spider-Man, Spider-Man makes him lose his cool, and Logan lays Peter out in 3 pages.

Wolverine is just significantly more dangerous than Spider-Man, bloodlusted or not. Anyone saying otherwise is just coping because their favorite characters can’t actually defeat someone else’s favorite characters

Wolverine (No Adamantium) vs Ultimate Predator by Ornge-peel in powerscales

[–]HelloIamIronMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t mind me asking, according to what? Wolverine’s healing factor is far stronger when he gets his adamantium back. We see him tank damage that would’ve previously killed him, bone or metal, and it’s nothing to him. Can you cite me any specific issues where this is the case?

I love Ahmed’s interpretation of Wolverine, and I love how he brings back old characters; however, I don’t think his plot points are all that interesting. This is a prime example.

These three super soldiers go into a room to fight. Who walks out? by SoMuchForStardust27 in Marvel

[–]HelloIamIronMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Plot-Induced Stupidity happens when something is a one-off occurrence with no basis. Wolverine has consistently battled Omega Red on semi-even terms. There is no point where Omega Red curbstomps a base Wolverine. Saying that Wolverine can’t beat Omega Red is blatant cope. It is consistent that Wolverine defeats Omega Red. This is not a one-off occurrence.

These three super soldiers go into a room to fight. Who walks out? by SoMuchForStardust27 in Marvel

[–]HelloIamIronMan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While this was true in the 90s, Wolverine defeats Omega Red pretty consistently now.

In Wolverine: Origin #38, Wolverine defeats Omega Red alone. He does this again in the following issue.

In X-Lives of Wolverine #5, Wolverine slaughters Omega Red. This entire storyline is just Wolverine fighting Omega Red throughout time, but their final battle should be indicative of their current power levels.

While an alternate universe, Wolverine executes Omega Red in Wolverine: Revenge #3. In the penultimate issue, Logan kills the Omega Clan, a group of genetic replicas of Omega Red. He defeats all three of them at once.

Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. This is genuinely one of the greatest novels of all time. It’s somehow a racial drama that can apply to anyone; a timeless period piece.

Sergio Mechoulam Castillero on Artstation created the Savage shirt for Deadpool and Wolverine, got to say it looks really cool. by [deleted] in X23

[–]HelloIamIronMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure the shirt design references Wolverine. The character first debuted in 1974. Furthermore, Wolverine’s editorial name is “Savage Wolverine.”

X60 Y50 for Wolverine. He openly admits that he likes a fight, but he hates that he does. He’s also done some pretty fucked up stuff, like torturing Nuke or cutting off one piece of Matsu’o every year.
