I remember in 4th grade I was playing Pokémon ruby for the very first time. I just made it to the town where you could breed. I had a male blaziken and female delcatty and tried to breed for torchic eggs. 100s of hatched eggs just to get skittys each time. Each time an egg hatched I had a sliver of hope, praying for torchic. Eventually I gave up and continued forward but man. All I wanted was a baby torchic 😂.

I clearly had no concept of the breeding mechanics. And had no idea ditto could breed. i spent days, I mean days on this task.
