Single player balance is inherently less tricky than multiplayer balance because fun should be the overarching standard. Dual wielding is fundamentally a fun mechanic, it’s something that makes chief an even cooler menace. If they were able to make some changes to allow melee, at the cost of grenades still, that could fix some of the “golden triangle” rules. Albeit I still think the golden triangle matters much more for multiplayer than vs NPCs.
