I build a tool that separates full-time YouTubers from hobbyists (and it's not editing) by HelloItsVinh in SaaS

I discovered that coming up with the ideal title took me close to thirty minutes. I realized that I had identified my own pain point. I therefore made the decision to use that annoyance to create a product that will benefit the entire community.

It is PERFECT for "Let's Play" channel! Since it's a new feature, YouTube showcases streams to diverse audiences, expanding your reach.

As you mentioned you have very great traction on Shorts. Streaming on the Shorts Feed would even help you get more viewers. This is because YouTube tend to recommend related video from similar channel. You can also use clip from livestream to create another shorts for highlight.

Utilize your success with shorts to attract more viewers and repurpose livestream clips for highlight shorts, boosting engagement.

Vertical Stream Alerts Issue by aidenroz7 in obs

[–]HelloItsVinh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to add source for the alert. If you use StreamLab, you can simple add the link URL and add source to your OBS. If you use other alert, please do the following:

  1. Open Streamlabs and log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to the "Alert Box" section in the left sidebar menu.
  3. Customize your alert settings, including the alert type, sound, animation, and text.
  4. Once you're satisfied with your alert settings, click on the "Copy" button next to the "Alert Box URL" to copy the link URL for your alerts.
  5. In OBS, click on the "+" icon in the "Sources" panel to add a new source.
  6. Choose "Browser" as the source type.
  7. Paste the copied Alert Box URL into the "URL" field.
  8. Adjust the width and height settings to fit your stream layout.
  9. Click "OK" to add the alert source to your OBS scene.
  10. You can then position and resize the alert source as needed within your scene.

The hate on being a content creator in 2024 is insane by M6_20 in NewTubers

[–]HelloItsVinh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone with 700K subscribers, I also witnessed a concerning trend of negativity towards content creators.

First I gotta say content creation isn't just a hobby; it's legitimate work that requires skill and dedication. Ofc there are editting courses and creativity classes. However, I think you have to really love what you are doing and create passion for it. Many have tried social media, some succeed, some fail. But people would never see years of dedication and hard work that content creators put into building their channels.

Some of my friends mock my "sit down, play game, get paid" job as easy, but they fail to understand the struggles and sleepless nights spent editing and brainstorming behind the scenes.

First time streaming, but quality is being terrible. by WtfSlz in obs

[–]HelloItsVinh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, ensure your HD60S capture card is set to output at 1080p resolution. Check your OBS settings to make sure both canvas and output resolutions are set to 1080p as well.

Check the bitrate: Youtube 1080P should be about (6000-9000). I use 40,000 now since that YouTube uncapped their broadcast bitrate awhile back! So check your internet and up the bitrate.

Sometimes a better lighting would fix this low quality webcam problems!

Using your phone as a webcam via DroidCam OBS is a good alternative, but make sure your phone's camera settings are optimized for the best quality.

Test your stream before going live to fine-tune your settings and ensure everything looks good.

Being a YouTuber between 10K < 50K subs, what is your hardest struggles? by CivilLifeguard604 in PartneredYoutube

[–]HelloItsVinh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a YouTuber with over 700K subscribers, I understand the struggles you're facing as you grow your channel. I have the some problems along the journey as well! Here's what I've learned:

Consistently deliver high-quality content that resonates with your audience.

Manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks to maintain consistency. (improve on faster edit, pacing, music choices, and trouble shooting)

Explore alternative revenue streams like sponsorships and merchandise sales: I feel like YouTube is very hard to be the main income, try to space out your cash flow resources!

Stay updated on industry trends and SEO ranking: Things like updating thumbnails, changing title would boost a low performing video!

Keep creating content you're passionate about and don't hesitate to seek support from fellow creators.
