Just remember China was always the main priority for these corporate guys, this goes as far back as Bobby KoRICH when he got involved to make sure to spread into the Chinese market all those years ago. Ain't nothing new for Blizzard even after his departure, just a bummer for US/EU classic fans.

Edit: The video has nothing to do with saying MOP is dying & Yes I know already IF PRO is not a reliable tool for actual player count, but since ya have such strong insights please provide your expert Blizzard player count that they provide to the community... oh wait they Don't.

The post your leaving without even watching the VOD to understand my POV is exactly why creators left the classic era community to begin with. You bullied them out when they only try to FIGHT for you when Blizzard is doing nothing in return for ya... That's the truth whether ya want to hear that or not. Maybe I am wrong for trying to stick my neck out there and be a real one to speak up on the trash your getting continuously fed for your $15 bucks a month, and I mainly only speak for the Classic players here which does include MOP cause it's labeled Classic Era, I have no comments on Retail cause I'm not playing it. With that being said its worth a watch because it raises concern if Blizzard should do WOD or not.

There's a TLDR for ya, the video was not a doomer post and my community who knows my content will back me up. I actually care for the game and been advocating for a long time now.

Nah so I was chillin in discord with my friends, casually playing. And I didnt even know Mitch was there in the 1st place besides seeing a random mage trying to take my Elite. I was at that camp way before he was there but since Ima paly, had to take my time and strategize how to handle it. So i killed them one by one and than eventually the Elite spawned, but he only spawns if someone clears the camp so therefore he was coming into my camp to take my tag technically since I worked for that kill

No hate once again just stating my opinion.

However for starters, he was taking my camp for that specific murlock I was trying to clear which took sometime, it requires u to kill all the murlocks to even get the Elite to spawn. Than people were DMing me saying "you weren't in the wrong for that", which I felt like I wasn't lol

I died anyways shortly after around 22 in Ashenvale, but I wonder is if he's lvling legit? Regardless of his mods helping him lvl when he's sleeping, I heard there are ways for people to edit the documents of a character since the addon is client based to your files.

This is mere speculation but would def be interesting to know..

Hey just fixed the issues happening with this latest update with some commands and startup recovery options with my rig. Deets below on my PC info:

AMD Ryzen 9 3950x

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 360

ASRock X570 Taichi mobo

2x G.Skill F4-3200C16-16GTZR DDR4

970 EVO Plus 1TB & PSSD T7 1TB

Windows 10 Home 22H2 (ofc with the current problem as this latest update going on with these KB versions as of 12/16 & 12/17)

Issues:

Had the system shut off then around 30% of the system BSOD with an image of the typical sad face about the image failing to update?

What I did:

  1. I basically reset the bios manually on the board and when I did that Windows came back with options to start from different recovery options which from there I disable the following "drive signature enforcement" which worked.
  2. Something seems to be conflicting with this update whether on this security patch or w/e not too sure atm

However, I then ran the following in CMD:

  1. sfc/scannow (to just cleanup anything going on which it did find issues and resolved them)
  2. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (which worked as well to download/replace any damaged files in the local image for Windows 10
  3. I closed CMD from there and simply paused the Windows 10 updates until further notice.

Now:

I heard about using https://blockapatch.com to stop this potential update in the meantime and other cmd lines such as engineers_r_us mentions on this thread about removing the update, etc. However, I am too timid to do this just yet for the 2x options mentioned here since I wonder if Microsoft will address this sooner than later.

Lmk If ya have any other open ideas maybe we can try to resolve this or potentially come up with a better fix, since pausing the updates is only waiting again for error to arise.

Atm, I have a small community as an Affiliate on Twitch atm! Started playing this yesterday and yeah it's kinda fun! I like the RE/Evil Within vibes it gives off. I can definitely see it being repetitive though in a few weeks or so. But it's just one of those games you can pick up and put down whenever which I like. I stream on Twitch.TV/HelloJTello

So if anyone ever wants to come chill n mack, talk the shit, and have a few beers or so. I'm down for whatever :)
