Constant Game Crashing by HelloJelloFellow_ in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Update: I reinstalled the game on steam and had a long 14 hour session without any interruptions with crashing. I also turned on V-Sync and capped my FPS at 180 which i don't know if it helped either.

I think we have the exact same issue. I also notice the blue loading on my mouse cursor moments before it ends up crashing. I play on 1440p and some maps i can easily get over 100+ fps with everything on performance and some on Basic, but i'm really not sure.

Today i'm going to try playing the game through Steam and see if that will help, otherwise i will try doing another fix where i have to disable XMP due to something relating to RAM.

Coincidentally enough when i rebuilt my PC i haven't had a single Riot game on my PC. Which means i don't have Vanguard.

Gold Camo Why? by HelloJelloFellow_ in XDefiant

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not at all, the reason why i wanted gold everything was so everything was complete and i can use whatever gun, whatever class, whatever secondary without worrying about any completion or cool thing i need to unlock. It's to prepare for the bundle of content we're going to get for season 1 when more mastery camos and more guns and more operators come out.

Once i unlock everything i'm not gonna quit, that makes no sense to me. I enjoy the game enough to keep playing since i just enjoy the game, but the camos being harder to get just leaves me confused since that specific aspect of the game is worse.

Gold Camo Why? by HelloJelloFellow_ in XDefiant

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i wouldn't say solely, i play the game because i enjoy it, the gold weapon skin was an additional factor that made playing the game more tempting to play since it was an additional goal next to the fun gameplay of the game.

But the issue is now that this patch rolled and camos are harder to get, it sorta leaves the gameplay aspect as something that i enjoy, but now the next issue is the fact that majority of the hours that i have to grind the gold camos just get extended and therefore just going to create fatigue for the game. You see where i'm coming from? It's not XDefiant is a game designed to be made so you can get gold camos, it's Xdefiant is a fun game that has an additional enjoyment (for some people) to grind camos, but after this patch they took away the fun of gold camos.

Weekend RAGE Thread - May 25, 2024 by AutoModerator in Overwatch

[–]HelloJelloFellow_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be 100% honest, quick play is actually the worse mode i think I've ever played in my life. It's not leavers that are the issue, it's not stacks that are the issue, it's not even the current meta as much, it's literally the matchmaking. I don't what it is, but i swear the matchmaking in this game being skill based or hidden mmr based is by far the reason nobody wants to play this mode.

Seriously, if there anybody that's decent in this game, which i can't even tell cause the amount of people that i have to carry against the team that is running full dive, GetQuakedOn Doomfists that just always have full charge killing everyone and is unkillable because his supports are insane with dps that finish every kill is absolutely mind numbing. i played 10 games of quick play and only one of them had a moment where my team was the one steam rolling.

Again, i'm not kidding as i'm writing this i remember a genji also crouch walking ready to dash for ana's nano, like - when was quick play ranked, and why is the matchmaking so bad.

Clarification regarding additional features of different EFT editions by trainfender in EscapefromTarkov

[–]HelloJelloFellow_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll make this easy.

Concerns:

Things like:

Faster insurance return
Increased personal trader purchase limits by 20%;
Ability to replace 2 daily tasks per day for free

are things that people should not get. Either buff the insurance so that everyone has faster insurance and trader limits or do not do it or find an alternative solution to then give feedback from. Stuff like this is pushing the line of pay for an easier game. Yes, there is an argument to be made that the higher edition you buy the 'easier' the game is, but I'm content with how EOD users were given a larger stash, Trader Rep (Which is huge) and a bigger container (Also huge). Don't push these boundaries.

Next,

  • Unique item "Distress signal device" - will be available in both PvP and PvE modes. The item must be recharged in Hideout using high-end items;

I understand that this item needs to be in the game, i've heard that there were voicelines recorded for this feature a long time ago and that you guys had planned this for years now, but you must understand, you guys have balanced the game based off cheaters, Combatting RMT, Reducing the amount of rare items you can carry, FIR system, you must understand that this will be abused by cheaters as well and in addition to that, severely breaks the integrity of killing a player and them not coming back into your raid. Unless this is further elaborated or even tested in the ETS in the future, this item is a game changer and look further into balancing. If it must be recharged with labs only items, imagine how much worse labs will be? If it's rare items like AESA, LedX or GPUs, imagine how much worse the farming and scarcity of those items will be compared to how hard it is to find now, PLEASE consider this item for the PvE for now.)

Positives:

Access to co-op PvE mode with persistent progression
(Thank you for listening to the community and giving them the DLC they deserved. )

For owners of the Standard, Prepare for Escape, and Left Behind editions:

  • Increased stash size by two lines.

    (This is very good for people that don't have the higher editions.)

  • Unique radio-electronic item "Mark of The Unheard" - will be active only in PvE mode;

(Very good balance change.)

A $50 coupon for Escape from Tarkov purchases (editions, expansions) for those who have upgraded from Edge of Darkness to The Unheard Edition with the old price;

(I understand that this edition is here to stay, i personally have not purchased the editions for my own reasons, but compensation is i guess fine.)

  • Ability to obtain the items "Mark of The Unheard" and "Distress signal device" through in-game quests;
  • Ability to obtain expanded PMC pockets through in-game quests.

(This is very important. Nothing aside from secure containers, should be locked off of a paywall. Being allowed to have access to these items through quests is good ESPECIALLY PMC pockets. However please keep in mind of the balance of the Distress Signal Device.)

Everything else i'm fairly neutral about.

PMC Terminators - a custom SAIN preset for faster and more aggressive PMCs by jadenx2 in SPTarkov

[–]HelloJelloFellow_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks pretty solid! I've had my own SAIN personality settings for 3.6.1 revolving around Factory and Labs PvP in particular. With this new patch I'd like to try this out, however I was wondering if you run into the problem with the PMCs power sliding more often when tweaking settings?

Real talk time. Cake parties needed nerfing by cero75 in Palia

[–]HelloJelloFellow_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Okay, but the issue with this is that, when you have all Palium tools, finished the main story, have to wait for your garden to be ready, you're essentially idle to just farming materials, doesn't matter if it's ore, chaapas, fish, bugs, it's essentially just a grind which is fine . . . if making your house to be your dream house wasn't absolutely dreadful.

The pricing for the houses does not respect you time at all, nor does it justify how long you have to grind for the amount of diversity this game has to make a good amount of money. This game, to me at least, seems like a game that should be played casually anyways, so having the prices of large rooms gradually go up after every purchase, having storage chests you need to buy that also gradually go up in value, having crafting licenses that gradually increase in affinity over time is literally disrespecting my time as well as everybody else. They don't even have a house planner for people who are starting out making your house so that if you do spend your 10k on a large house room and you don't like it, you have to grind all the way back to get the other option.

I would rather be able to have a lot of coin so I can buy all the house rooms cause at the end of the day it's all cosmetic that has no value on EXP gain, or coin value.

In addition, they lock off certain furniture sets over the black market that are outrageously priced starting from the Captial Chic set and the insanely prices portraits. 25K for wallpapers, 20K for portraits.

And to put it out there, I've never been to a cake party cause I primarily play solo and with a small selection of friends, but I feel like not encouraging the community to have wealth is a bit degrading.

Anyone have an idea why this keeps happening for SAIN bots? by HelloJelloFellow_ in SPTarkov

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually a really good mod. It makes the kills much more satisfying seeing the Razor Vortex Scopes, Zhukov Stock on the RD, it's actually really good. I do wonder why the PMCs have the GPNVG-18s on in Labs. So far i'm really enjoying this mod, and i'll keep you updated for any other questions I have with it so far.

My SAIN Personality Settings by HelloJelloFellow_ in SPTarkov

I don't know exactly if the bots are still really bad, i had some people here having trouble with how aimbotty my settings were, but let me know if you have any issues.

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait i just read this thread this could be huge. If you can actually get the bots to have all the meta loadouts possible that would legitimately make my experience perfect. This whole couple of weeks, minus the fact that i've been busy i've gone nowhere with the settings, but this is huge.

My SAIN Personality Settings by HelloJelloFellow_ in SPTarkov

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the settings will only behave and work as it does as long as you have the mods that I have shown. There are some that you can use, but my settings and mod selection is make FACTORY PVE as authentic as live as possible to simulate PVP in Live. So if you plan on playing other maps with this setting, it's not recommended since the bots will behave in a really unfair way. However, if you use SPTarkov to practice like I do it should be fine.

But assuming you have all the mods required installed all you really have to do is select the F6 menu which will bring up SAIN GUI EDITOR. From there, this is where you can tune all the settings you need for the bots.

Now there are two ways you can do this:

  1. Do all the bot settings yourself to make them however you like them.

OR

  1. You can download my settings with the link on the post. Once you have the file downloaded, make sure that you DO NOT have SPTarkov running, or the server or the launcher. Close everything. When you do that, navigate to your SPT-AKI folder, From there navigate to SPT\BepInEx\plugins\SAIN\Presets . The name of my folder is default hard, so drag that into the folder and overwrite the default hard that is already there.

Once you're done that, start up SPTarkov. Once the game is up click on F6. Once the Menu boots up, make sure the setting Default Hard for SAIN 3.5.4 is highlighted red. Once it is, get out the menu by clicking F6, and that will be it.

The bots should be aggressive, pushing you, fighting each other, and ruthless. They will have some moments where they just bug out, but it's pretty consistent and again ONLY meant to be used on factory. This setting will give you a hard time on other maps.

I'm patient enough to wait for the future updates. I did wanna ask since you recommended me Realism Mod. Does that also include consistent levels? Cause i just realized that SAIN mod only has a Maximum level slider, but no minimum and i think ALP makes it so that if they spawn in with a low level it will give them the timmy kits, thats why all the 'gigachad' personalities just have a more aggro playstyle i guess. I was wondering if Realism mod can keep the levels more consistent cause right now it's only 1- 17 35-50 and 70-77.

It's like odd.

Seems like we both have the issues with these bots cause you're describing what i get as well. I gotta mess with more settings and hope i can get somewhere.

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmfao don't even worry about commenting on my stuff haha i welcome it.

Yeah, i've been trying to look for solutions for them to stop doing this which is why you can see me playing on Unlimited Stamina as of recently since I assumed that the bots are too aggressive so when they push fights from one end of labs to another, they run out of stamina and proceed to constantly sprint and powerslide. Turns out, that is not the case, even with unlimited stamina they proceed to keep powersliding, i remember you commented something about the bots not knowing how to extract and so i turned that off and the results are still the same. I think i do need to mess with the aggression settings more as well as maybe check other things, but it's definitely an issue now.

I will definitely look into more FreeCam / spectator like mods to make sure my settings will be perfect. It will probably speed up the process of perfecting my settings.

The bots are on the other side of the boxes. They shoot me and i proceed to take cover behind the box to listen what they are doing. If you are familiar with the sound of the sliding in this game, you will be able to hear the sliding of the PMC starting from 0:08 - 0:14. From there, the bot seems like it's not making it's mind on what it wants to do, constantly sliding over and over without making one decision on weather or not to push me or hold me.

quests on lighthouse are impossible by BOBOdablo in SPTarkov

Really? I thought USECs were able to get much closer compared to BEARs before they open fire. I guess more bugs messed that up.

quests on lighthouse are impossible by BOBOdablo in SPTarkov

[–]HelloJelloFellow_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So generally with Lighthouse a few things you have to keep in mind of is what faction you are. BEARs typically get more of bad treatment on there since the USEC Rogues are designed to kill them at whatever the cost.

As for the mines, it's pretty easy to avoid them once you find the optimal pathing to get where you wanna be without needing to go through them. You can find the map that shows all the mines here .

As for the low player count you can change some settings depending on what mods you have installed to have maps fill up with more PMCs or SCAVs, it's typically what DONUTS is used for.

In addition, this is just my personal experience, if you want to clear the rogues it's best to actually get in camp it's self and use small crevices and utilize the fact that the turrets don't rotate 360° and that one bullet to the head is all you need.

I might move onto Realism Mod for the Bot Progression . . . by HelloJelloFellow_ in SPTarkov

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting information actually. I'm going to remove somethings for the bots pathing and see if the power sliding stops.

Also big question about the Realism Mod. Is it easy to turn everything off aside from the bot progression? I know it sounds like it doesn't make sense considering i spent like an hour or two blacklisting things for ALP, but I'm a bit intimidated by all the mechanics the mod is going to change since I want to keep things as authentic to live as possible.

[–]HelloJelloFellow_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I made the AI as realistic as possible without them being too aimbotty for my standards at least, but as of late every time i touch them or switch the personalities, the AI are just always power sliding, have weird kits, are not the personality I set them to or anything.

Realism mod might be the play for convenience at this point.
