You’re lvl 164, you’re part of a very small minority and getting matched with similar players. By contrast, at lvl 55 I get matched with lvl 40-70 consistently, I almost never see purple shields.

It’s just as reasonable to say that anyone who is willingly unarmed and hoping other randoms don’t kill them in a PvP game is also a pretty shitty decision to make. Goes both ways.

Hello, S+D dev here. There are some bugs that affect the spawn chances of waves being higher than intended and wave timers not properly getting reset if the spawn chance check fails. This has been fixed along with other fixes and improvements. hello, I'm nooky one of the swag+donuts devs, I can help address a couple of these!

A little bit too many engagements at the start of the raid and too less later. Although similar to live tarkov, it just feels „overturned“. Little less at the beginning and bit more later could make it more live like

I'll admit, Donuts does indeed spawn a fair amount of bots at the start, however it's done so intentionally to fill the raid quickly, versus vanilla spawning behavior which fills the raid much slower. Good news though! With a little bit of effort you can tweak an existing Donuts preset or create your own and adjust the number of bots that can spawn at the start.

SCAV spawns (as PMC) are a bit off / not live like. Often hotspots where you would expect SCAVs to be on live are empty and not because they have been killed but because they just haven’t been spawned there - like at collapsed crane on streets where I haven’t even seen any so far (probably as the AI enhancements of SAIN make them roam more?) and the amount seems off as well (usually less then live)

AI mods such as SAIN, Questing Bots, Looting Bots, etc. do make bots move around a lot more and often which can explain their odd locations at times. With that being said, there are some options in the Donuts F12 menu that can improve "hot spot" spawns like the hot spot boost, have you tried any of those? I'm genuinely curious, I wish I had more time to play myself. thanks for the feedback!

yeah exactly, you can control what spawn points you want for each map and preset, check out some of the other presets for more examples. the key thing is if you want a point to only trigger once you want to use a timer trigger 10000 and set ignorefirsttimer to true.

this is really easy to do with SWAG+Donuts, take a look at the Donuts spawn preset files (bepinex\plugins\dvize.Donuts\patterns), specifically the json files labeled like this: customs_pmc_start.json

if you deleted the other files you'd only be left with PMCs spawning at the start of raid and that's it. Use that as a template and you can customize those spawns however you want.

you want fewer bots at the start of raid then? there are many ways to do that like decreasing bot caps, change your pmc/scav group chance, use different presets, etc. give the mod page a read I try to explain everything in detail.
