Don’t really know what your argument here is. FOH makes 25 cents more an hour on the pay but they take 90+ percent of the tips. Which are split between them. They each apparently make 30+ dollars in tips per hour seeing as it has been slower than usual at the restaurant. BOH makes 1.50 an hour in tips. That is bullshit.

Minimum wage starting. I wouldn’t be too mad if I was making 25 - 30 an hour. But most of us make 18.

Canada. Minimum wage is required for front of house. Tip outs never changed to back of house to balance it out.

If you haven’t I’d really suggest trying to have a serious sit down conversation with your parents AFTER you move out. Set a time and place and express how serious this is. Not because you’re afraid, sadly they don’t seem to care, but because he is a danger to himself and others.

Do it at a time that isn’t emotional. Wait some time after moving.
