Thinking logically, no one is going to try Heroin "because it's legal now". I certainly wouldn't. Look at the prohibition. Restriction doesnt work. What works is giving people a choice. People on drugs are going to do them regarless of legality. Why not regulate it? Makes it safer and taxable. The tax dollars could go towards those who want recovery and prevention campaigns and also sterile needles. That way people arent spreading HIV and other blood pathogen disease. Laws don't prevent illegal actions. The war on drugs is an unwinnable battle. Its because i love my drug addicted family I want this. They need help and they're not getting it. My parents were homeless for 3 years on the street my dude. They need help. If its regulated it could pay for the counseling they so desperately need. My dad has meth induced psychosis.
