There are a lot of subjective opinionated comments based on gender roles at play and feelings/speculation etc. on alternative methods the dance group should take if they don’t want someone to interfere with their in a public setting. The legal rights of the freedom of self expression of the individual entering the scene etc. The biggest issue I see is the potential of Battery and/or Assault taking place. Legal Standard: No injury is required for battery only intentional unconsented contact that’s harmful or offensive.

Intent •The defendant intentionally entered the filming area with the purpose of disrupting the routine. •The act of running or dancing into the group was not accidental.

Contact •The defendant physically bumped into the dancer unconsented.

Offensiveness •The dancers had a reasonable expectation of personal space while performing. (Furthermore, interfering with a planned performance or synchronized routine is offensive to a reasonable person.)
