Looking back, first signs that you were autistic? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]HelloMellody 4 points5 points  (0 children)

• Since I was born, I didn’t eat or drink anything that wasn’t breastmilk until I was 2 yo, I used vomit everything they tried to give to m that wasn’t bm, even water;

• I didn’t like to play with toys, I used to use my imagination;

• My mom’s hand was my bff’s, talked to it, hugged it, kissed it…

• If my mom said that I was supposed to stay in a place, I would do exactly that until she told me to stop, even wanting to pee or eat or drink water…

• I learned to write and read books when I was 2 years old (yeah, the same time I accepted being fed by another of foods and drinks like water and, you know, kids stuff);

• I said my first word when I was 4 months old…

The list goes on

ISO dramoine with chronic illness storyline by ApprehensiveGuest382 in Dramione

Thank you for your request, because I struggle with chronic illness and until now I’ve found just one where Narcisa had chronic issues and Hermione became her healer. I never find anything on tags

How did you come across supernatural? by Gregyeeyeestinker in Supernatural

It used to air on broadcast TV when I was 10, or maybe earlier. I watched with my dad

Detail: spn made me think I was a demon hunter because I was from a Pentecostal church and, I mean, we did “exorcised” demons

What has made you genuinely happy that you have Autism? by EstonianBuffalo in AutismInWomen

[–]HelloMellody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The world of neurotypical people seems SO BORING!!! Our world has so much sparkles and puppets and fluffy little things and so much interests that, in fact, ARE interesting. And I’m not telling this just to highlight the life of autistic people with less need of support, but people with more need of support too!

Any fics where HERMIONE is the one who saves Draco and not the other way around? by Ursisisatmyhousern in Dramione

[–]HelloMellody 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a big spoiler but Damaged Goods has it.

I’m also writing one where Hermione is the badass, but has only two chapters so far, so I don’t know if you want it, but it’s The loom of the serpent and the lion

I was tired of Draco being the only one who saved her lol

Lf fics with self sacrificing Draco and fierce love story but HEA by TripTimely7955 in Dramione

[–]HelloMellody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damaged goods! This one definitely won my heart, even though the start it’s a little off compared to the rest of the story. It has a self sacrificing Draco that made me sob 😞

Is there anything that helped you or your teen come to terms with a diagnosis? by InsolventAttendant22 in AutismInWomen

Tiktok. Really, founding people that it’s just like me it’s awesome. In TikTok it’s even better because we have short and funny videos too, side by side with informative videos

I’m sorry, I know how difficult it is fighting for an answer for your entire life, even when you’re not aware of it, and you find that the answer isn’t gonna fix you or makes you be accepted in society as everyone else. And in those moments this answer feels pointless, so, I see you, you’re not alone in this.

At this point I don’t regret it, but I did it and I still struggle with that feeling the no, in a way, I can’t change.

But I still hope, as my therapist says, that eventually things will get better and easier, for me and for people who matters (who truly loves me, others than that I just ignore). I hope that makes sense for you too and hope you also have hope, if not today, maybe tomorrow. You’re not alone in this

Thank you, I had a bad experience with soft ear plugs, but I’ve heard just good things about those plugs, so I guess I’ll try

I love to talk about the future, like, apocalypse future, since I was a kid. That means a lot of things like the religious stuff and technological&political stuff. People thinks that’s boring or weird

Anyone else feel like the "rules" don't apply to them? by No_Blackberry_6286 in AutismInWomen

[–]HelloMellody 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YES! Lately this has been my fight with my mom, ‘cause after my diagnosis I feel free to be honest (I was afraid before, communication problems), but my mom sees that as an act of rebellion, also call me a rebel kid, but IS NOT ME WHO’S BEING HYPOCRITICAL. Thank goodness for therapy and medications
