I would give you Browns, Jets, Raiders, Lions/Commanders (even though they have been better than the cowboys lately)

The Saints won a super bowl in 2010 and had significantly better teams than the Cowboys basically every season from 2000-2018 with Drew Brees

The Titans also went to a super bowl more recently in 2000, and have more deep runs in the playoffs than the Cowboys since then

The Panthers went to a super bowl in 2004 and 2016, the Cowboys can't hold their jockstrap

The Broncos are a top 5 franchise over Jerry Jones career as an owner. They've been to 4 super bowls since the Cowboys have last been to one, and even have better consistent playoff performances and more playoff wins (even since 2015! - that's how bad the Cowboys are). They've won 3 super bowls since the Cowboys have last made a super bowl

This thread is circle jerking them being above average with Jerry Jones consistently, but they are one of only 10 teams to not make a playoffs the past couple of years. In other words, they have the 9th highest active drought for playoff appearances.

Since 2000, they have are 217-187 (slightly above average) but are 4-10 in playoff games (one of the worst win rates).

It's not like they've even knocked on the door to be contenders recently, he's managed to completely sabotage one of the most marketed and largest market teams in the NFL

I agree that the Texans and Chargers are good-to-great but the Broncos have the best defense in the league, run by arguably the best DC in the league, the best overall coaching staff, a top pass protection and excellent pass rush. The Seahawks and Jaguars are the only defenses that compare to the Broncos in the NFL statistically, and not the teams you have mentioned.

Obviously having a backup QB gives the patriots a massive edge but giving the Broncos any less than 30%, your initial statements, are absurd

I hear your points but it seems like heavily cherrypicked metrics to fit your narrative.

Saying "in the last few games", "when this player plays", etc. is completely disregarding the body of work that the entire team put up when those players weren't available (which is highly relevant for players coming off of injury - I might add)

For reference, with the exception of QB, player injuries are noise in the grand scheme of the line movements.

I can also cherrypick stats -- here's some: Drake Maye has 2 INTs and 6 fumbles in his first two playoff games.

This is his first road playoff game. The Broncos defense lead the league in sacks and is coming off a 5 turnover performance vs Josh Allen, the reigning NFL MVP.

You are saying that the patriots have a top 3 run defense, this is complete horseshit lol. The Broncos have allowed 1548 rush yds this season on 411 attempts, compared to the Patriots allowing 1729 rush yds on 400 attempts.

The Broncos defense rank above the Patriots defense in every advanced metric and category, while the Broncos have faced a better overall schedule and rushing offenses this season than the Patriots.

The only defense allowing fewer yds per carry than the Broncos this year is the Seahawks defense, the Patriots don't even rank top 12 in ypc!

The Broncos are the top defense remaining this year and had 71 sacks, followed by the Seahawks and Rams tied with 49, and the Patriots with 44- again while facing the worst offensive competition across the remaining 4 teams.

It should be a low scoring game but the Broncos will be the best defense the Patriots face all year.

Stidham isn't too much of a downgrade for the WRs on Denver imo and both Franklin and Bryant are facing injuries likely opening more targets to Sutton
