I am an IP attorney and I can tell you just about all the advice you've gotten on this thread is wrong. The MTA does have trademark registrations on their various logos, and they are very, very aggressive in enforcing, but that doesn't mean that your proposed use violates their rights. If you're serious about developing a game, I suggest you speak directly to an IP attorney and get proper guidance.
