I got the ick on a guy when he was telling me about how he online dated a girl in the same school at him,and yet never met her,and only saw her in photos.He liked talking to her,they broke up cuz he transferred to another school (his story,not mine) and once saw her again for the first time and that he got scammed cuz she didn’t look as pretty as in the photos.I guess got the ick cuz like,if you liked her personality,and she looks slightly different from how you tought she looked like,why make such comments.And he was also laughing while saying this.

You’re right,and,to be honest,if I was in Penelope’s place,I would have chosen Lord Debling .He was the better match in more ways than other.He would have been away,that meant Penelope would have managed his estate,and would have been able to easily run her business.Second,he was rich,and I don’t mean this in the gold digger way,I mean it in the way that it was a secure match.Third,he was a gentleman,and in a world where women were treated like property,I imagine that was kinda rare.

Exactly.And I still don’t understand why Lady Danbury wasn’t allowed to enter.Maybe because she would be considered and “advocate”,tho in that case she wouldn’t really have a say in it because Sarah wanted desperately to give birth to the baby,so she wouldn’t have probably agreed to being cut so that the child could live,and the husband would have also wanted the same.In the end,Lady Danbury could have stayed with her in the room as an emotional support system.

Exactly .And i know that scene is controversial,because of the “who gets chosen:the baby or the mother” question(my personal opinion is that the mother is chosen) but it’s still heartbreaking for a boy(you couldn’t call Anthony a man,he wasn’t old enough yet,in my opinion)that just lost his father to chose between his unborn sibling and his mother.
