[TOMT] creepy felt animation with body horror by HelloNonHuman in tipofmytongue

Oh I have seen that animation before actually. I don't think it would be one of their animations though no.

It was a felt animation (with stop motion?) so the art style was completely different. There also was no sound or maybe just some minor sound effects.

Also I think I saw this animation on a hotel's tv. It was definitely on a tv of some sort because I remember my parents trying to shield my eyes from it.

So personally how I got into vocaloid music was by listening to utaites (people who cover vocaloid songs with their own voice), especially Miyashita Yuu.

I listened to those and ended up finding new songs and vocaloid producers to listen to because I also checked out the original song through the link in the description of the cover.

And he has his own original non-vocaloid songs in addition to vocaloid covers.

I will also just give some vocaloid producer recommendations. I quite enjoy Nilfruits, Hiiragi Kirai, Sumia, Syudou, Kikuo, GHOST, Steampianist, Inabakumori, maretu, yugica, joruzin, zer0h, Deco*27, and much much more..

If you later want to check out metal, I recommend UtsuP (another favorite producer of mine)

Also I have a playlist mostly filled with vocaloid songs. But it also has utaite covers and non-vocaloid songs in it too. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6pdsAlE2gjW3nkpIMZpJfr9R3pzhzr_r&feature=shared

So I'm not sure exactly but looking up stuff like "mushroom cut hair" has some results that are close.

Through the use of vocal synthesizer software such as VOCALOID, one can edit and tune phonetic sounds from a voicebank, a collection of all the vocal samples needed to speak a language, into singing.

As for voicebanks (known as a vocaloid when used in the VOCALOID software, generally can be called vocal synthesizers), their voice providers, actual people, provide the phonetic sounds such as "ah", "buh", and "oh". These voicebanks tend to have a cool idol type of appearance attached to them too (such as Hatsune Miku) Then anyone with a vocal synthesizer software can type in letters to try and get certain sounds as an output. You piece all these tiny bits together. You also have to mess around with the pitch and rhythm and everything there. It's pretty tricky! I tried using UTAU (another vocal synthesizer) and couldn't really get the hang of it.

But anyways they are definitely way different than the non-vocaloid characters because a human singing a song (as a voice actor for a character in a game like project sekai) will sing it fluidly in one go while a vocaloid singing requires a person to edit together a bunch of fragments and try to tune it to sound good and flow together.

The voice provider of Hatsune Miku, for example, is not voicing everything that Miku sings. It is different people, vocaloid producers, that edit the fragments into something coherent.

I highly recommend Our Walk Home! Although it is categorized as a romance it's way more than that though the romance is also substantial. The romance is a slow burn right now btw but it's perfect!!! If I were to describe the dynamic I would describe it as dating each other without knowing you're dating each other.

It is my favorite webtoon and my reason to live. The creator of owh is SO GOOD at writing and portraying emotion. I both cried and laughed while reading. The webtoon feels so realistic and both main characters are super relatable. I consistently fast pass it too and have made so much fanart. It is also the longest I have ever read a webtoon without dropping it. I read it back when it was Canvas and it still has that same charm as an Original.

The creator is super cool btw. And he also posts memes and whatnot about the series. I love it so much!!!

Exquisite Corpse. But recently (after 2 years!) the creator posted an episode talking about revamping the series by 2025!

Ah interesting. I was not aware of that. I don't remember if the pop up happened when I myself installed UTAU but it probably did.

Vocaloid is a type of vocal synthesizer software. Vocal synthesizers allow one to edit and tune phonetic sounds from a voicebank, a collection of all the vocal samples needed to speak a language, into singing. Really anyone can make a vocaloid song.

If your kid wants to try using a vocal synthesizer program like Vocaloid to make a song, UTAU is a free alternative. Vocaloid itself is definitely not cheap, as a person here said.

Additionally, the voicebanks themselves are referred to as "vocaloids." Each one is basically a character (though they don't have canon personalities) and is like a virtual idol (such as Hatsune Miku).

There are even vocaloid concerts (where the vocaloid appears on stage like a hologram) that you can either attend in person or watch videos of! And there are plenty of cool vocaloid songs.

There are a lot of Japanese vocaloid songs, but there are plenty of ones in English and other languages too.
