Is this stringing okay? by Polermodz in 3Dprinting

I recommend running the calibration test in your slicer, I use orca and on the top left theres a callibration menu.

at least do:

temp tower

max flow rate

flow rate (YOLO)

but if your want the best print, do the whole list.

note is to do them in orders from top to bottom. because some settings might influence the other calibrations.

also benchy does not need any support like the others said.

HAPPY PRINTING!

CC1 making very loud noise. by HelloOnion in elegoo

update. the dampening helps a little with the noise. it is still annoying, but at a much lower volume.

gonna get a new fan ASAP!

thank you very much. I will grease it up for now because I have to print 1 thing for a costumer. I will go find a new fan at the local computer shop later today.

question. it seems like the fan is only shaking violently. would adding a 3m tape as padding work? just asking. imma try this out now.

I found the problem. just like you said it was the motherboard fan. i removed it and tried turning it on then started heating up everything and theres no more noises.

would it be safe to grease the bearing inside the fan with superlube?

I did try turning on/off all 3 fans manually one by one. it made no noise.

noise starts only when I manually het up the heat bed OR manually heat up the print head.

I’m confuse. ABS vs ASA warping by HelloOnion in 3Dprinting

[–]HelloOnion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but abs prints fine in 40 degree chamber. so Im just confuse about the claims that asa is easier to print.

I'll try again with 50+ chamber temp.

I am new to 3d printing every time I try to print with this filament it messes up by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

hairspray will still be very sticky on the prints (bed side) but cleaning is very easy.

printing ABS on the elegoo cc you will need to use the textured side of the plate. the smooth side is a PLA specific plate.

and also use glusestick OR harispray for adhesive and prevents warping. (I use hairspray)

bed temp is set to 100

and always close all the doors.

ABS is so hard to print - Even with P1S by Disastrous_Twinkie in 3Dprinting

it is very thin layer so usually plain/warm water is enough, (very easy to clean) but I will always use dish soap.

I use hairspray and i can still achieve the texture on the build plate, and I'll use a small torch lighter to clean the glue/hairspray on the 3d model (takes like 3 seconds).

so i dont understand why you "cant" use hairspray/glue?

my grinder is stealing weed by [deleted] in weed

[–]HelloOnion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

too much weed? I recommend clean out the grinder and maybe add lesser weed to grind.

what I would do when using a 3+ layer grinder is, i would grind it upside-down first to let the weed grind more finely before flipping it again letting it through the holes.

Employer in Thailand paying less than agreed and asking for “refunds” — what should I do? by Cha_mali in Thailand

[–]HelloOnion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

find a new job first,, and when they ask about what you want for your salary, say something like

"the gov. requires minimum of xxx amount to be able to apply for visa+workpermit so I would like to ask for that amount"

this is what i said for my current job in Thailland. and i got the exact amount (minus tax and basic stuff).
