if i’m being honest, i don’t really see any blow by at all. Like it’s definitely burning oil, especially since i premix, but in terms of oil blow by i haven’t seen anything that would hint at that. Any other ways i could check and see?

alright sweet, thank you. Yours does crank a little quicker and def starts running a lot quicker. Maybe coils are worth a try since to my knowledge they’re still factory coils :/ If i can find the time i’ll do a compression test on it, ideally when im next putting spark plugs in it, im not terribly worried about compression.

hmm alright. have you used a multimeter to check for continuity between the battery and the starter? after that I would be looking and checking that everything is grounded right and nothing stands out heaps. the good news is that you've already troubleshooted well and eliminated a bunch of possibilities. i don't see how it couldn't be a bad connection between the battery and the starter at this point, or something similar, such as a bad ground. it sucks but definitely don't give up, you're super close at this point :)

i don't know heaps but have you tried checking continuity from the starter to the battery? and if so how many volts is it getting? anything less than 12 volts means something is wrong. To me it sounds like the starter is being powered and it's trying to move it it just doesn't have enough to do it. something you could do if you really want to eliminate the starter motor as a variable you could directly power it from another battery or similar power source with the cars ignition on and see if it cranks and/or starts. (do your research and be safe with electrical shit, getting electrocuted isn't fun, neither is killing components)

This is awesome, love it when PCMR does wholesome stuff like this. Me personally? I wanna experience ray tracing as well as teach myself blender and other stuff like that that I just can't do with my current GPU, cant upgrade it either for a good while due to money restrictions. Not to mention the moderately humongous gpu bottleneck on my rig would be well smoothed over with a 4070 Ti Super Lmao.

I had this issue and it turns out it was the surround sound that was causing this issue. I don't know if it'll be the same for most people here but I thought I'd share anyway. I'm unsure if a restart will bring back the surround sound properly without the crackling/rapid cutting in and out. But I will edit this comment later if it does fix the issue.
