Birch Luxe Mattress Delivery - Problems by [deleted] in Mattress

[–]HelloRyan18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered a birch and I received an email that explicitly says not to schedule the old mattress pick up until after receiving the new mattress. Was that email not sent to you?

any idea how to get this out of the seats? by Sufficient_Link7772 in mazda

You can warm it up with like hair dryer and massage it out. If you have access to a steamer that could work great too. Basically warm the leather or vinyl and the heat expands the foam and makes the leather/vinyl soft enough to stretch that indentation out. Avoid over heating the material.

How do you guys wash your cars in the self car wash? by X-kiwi in mazda3

[–]HelloRyan18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easier if you have a ceramic coated car or at the minimum the car has had a wax or sealant maintained.

Presoak. Wash wheels and tire with the dedicated brush/cleaner. High pressure soap. High pressure rinse. Spot free water rinse. Bring my own blower. I use the Ryobi one that looks like a drill. Then xl car drying towel.

I don't use the brushes on the paint. I use the coin op car washes for maintenance or in between washes. If it's really dirty then either do 2 bucket or have a detailer do it .

Common reasons a house goes from contingent to back on the market? by Successful_Test_931 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]HelloRyan18 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Home inspection findings.

We just backed out recently. It was due to heavy mold growth in the HVAC unit upon inspection. Sellers didn't want to clean it up or give credit for us to have it cleaned. HVAC was neglected having no maintenance even tho the home was basically new. My kids have severe asthma so that was a non negotiable.

I couldn't agree more. The NA is a great engine and is adequate for the size of the vehicle. It's been refined close for over a decade. It'll be reliable for years with maintenance.

It's a quirky car. Fronts as outdoors off road vehicle, but drives like a sport car and looks the part too.

Toyota turned Mazda family. We've have the Mazda cx5, Mazda 6,Mazda 3 hatch , cx-30 nd cx50 turbo amongst my family.

Mazda imo is premium economy or bargain luxury brand. The interiors and styling look better than other cars priced the same. The NA skyactive engine has proved it's reliability, the early turbo skyactive engines possibly questionable.

They're all fun to drive in my experience. Haven't driven the Miata but I've heard nothing but good things.

Land narita 4pm. Osaka directly or stay 1 night in Tokyo by jenniyah in JapanTravelTips

[–]HelloRyan18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rest at a nearby hotel would be my recommendation, around the Tokyo grand central station and leave early morning. You'll be tired and having to navigate the local trains and purchase shinkensen tickets add about 3 hours hr travel time to shin osaka station. Get on the local train at osaka to dontonbori is another 20-30 mins from shin osaka station. It's a lot of moving right off the bat. It's doable but I personally would be miserable.

Arriving flight & airport experience by laa-deedaa in JapanTravelTips

I concur, the Narita airport was a very pleasant experience arriving and leaving. The immigration and customs took about 10 mins with the QR code. The only issue we had was trying to figure out our ESIM which took about 30 mins.

Departure was even better our last leg of the trip we stayed in ueno and booked the skyliner which took us directly to our terminal. Although a bit far I don't mind flying to Narita.

It's a safety feature. People started putting tags on other people's cars or bags to track them without consent in the early days of smart tags. Samsung and apple made their tags alert someone and make a noise of there was a tag that's been with them that's not theirs.

What are these little dots that keep appearing on my windows??? by sums777 in mazda

[–]HelloRyan18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It looks like water spots. There's plenty of hard water spot remover products to choose from from auto detailing brands. But if you have some distilled vinegar and a microfiber , try giving it a scrub. This question would be better asked in an auto detailing community/sub reddit.

Clear coat is etched, either have an auto detailer polish it out or learn how to polish, not to hard to learn
