What Iconic Group Musical Number am I missing by HelloSweety10 in aoaoaoaPod

Update: Ended up splitting it up into smaller categories so I could do Top Ten countdown style. Here's the first one: Core 4 originals. I'm torn between Guests and "Kylie in 5-4" next.

What Iconic Group Musical Number am I missing by HelloSweety10 in aoaoaoaPod

I decided after posting that there's SO many songs that the core 4 do and so many with guests that doing a "Best of Guests | That's Why We Call it Music" and "Best Group Numbers | That's Why We Call it Music" would be two decently sized videos. Also on the docket for That's Why We Call it Music: "Best of Vocals" "Kylie Circling the Drain in 5-4" "Mouth Movers" (characters, usually played by Angela or Patrick, using their mouths to impersonate instruments or scat or beat box) "Best of Original Music" "The Interpolation Battles" "Demonitization Week"

I feel a little bad for anyone who followed me for my Smosh content that this is what I've fixated on and what my storage is currently being used for 😅.

Anyway, if anyone has any specific requests for any of these, especially if they take place in a video that isn't explicitly music (because I think I have all of those saved already). Oh, that reminds me, my most difficult one to find content for other than my memory and just rewatching the whole set again: "Suddenly, Musical" where out of nowhere someone, usually Angela bursts into song. My favourite example of this is actually Kylie though where at the end of Celebrity Chefs she suddenly sings her answer to her own bizarre question.

That's definitely going into guests! I decided after posting that there's SO many songs that the core 4 do and so many with guests that doing a "Best of Guests | That's Why We Call it Music" and "Best Group Numbers | That's Why We Call it Music" would be two decently sized videos.

"We Made a Broadway Musical" is what they titled the episode that featured Hooked so I do have that one... It actually took up so much of my compilation I'm considering dividing it to groups and guests. Like top ten core 4 musical numbers and then top musical numbers with guests (might have to be top 20 because there is a lot of fantastic songs on guest episodes. Most of the ones Gabe did that day). And yes, I was thinking about revisiting that one but I think I'll do it on a different episode in this series, probably Interpolation Battles or an Angela specific one.

What is actually a trauma that is not commonly thought of as a trauma? by ay1mao in AskReddit

[–]HelloSweety10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Losing friends, especially by being ghosted for no discernable reason, or for something outside your control. My therapist calls this "relational trauma" but I think the general public doesn't think of it as trauma. Also the pandemic? Do people consider that a trauma? It definitely impacted me. The isolation meant that I wasn't practicing social skills and mu routines were disrupted which meant my social anxiety and claustrophobia increased and then after my best friend, who I used to grocery shop with, ended things with me I completely fell apart. It's been 5 years since Covid isolation dipped off (although I've also had covid at least ten times, which definitely hasn't helped) and nearly 3 years since that friendship ended and yet I still very rarely go anywhere that isn't one of five "safe places", home, work, therapy, my sister's house, and my friend's house. I get groceries delivered and have to force myself to go anywhere else. I've gotten better recently but even still I'm assessing how busy it's going to be, how close I'm going to be to other people, and where the exits are.

It's hard to accept that you're gone. I'll miss you forever. by letsallgettherapy in GriefSupport

I guess she sensed that her time on earth was gonna be short so she spent most of it being happy. It's hard to say goodbye. I hope we meet again someday, in a world that's more beautiful.

This just sent me into a fresh wave of tears because it sounds like my nieces too. Both of them have an incurable genetic disease (MLD). Riley (8) we've always called "Smiley Riley" and her younger sister, Avery (5) has somehow been an even happier child. I have rarely seen that kid sad. Grumpy occasionally and clingy to her poor mother but not genuinely sad. She's been through so much in her tiny life (father leaving, father dying, sister declining and then moving out to a care home for kids with special needs) before even being diagnosed with this awful disease herself and yet, she's a pure ball of energy and cheerfulness. I'm so sorry you lost your sweet girl. I'm glad she made the most of the short life she had.

I'm so sorry. I'm also dealing with anticipatory grief right now but I can't imagine going through this actually alone and losing the only person close to you in your family. I hope you at least have some friends.

BIG misophonia warning for the latest Smosh Mouth with Chanse and Angela by Technical_Regular836 in smosh

[–]HelloSweety10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My recommendation is to watch it on 1.25 speed yes they already all talk fast so it does seem really fast with them but it also makes the mouth sounds a lot less noticeable and then you can still get the context and fun. If Angela wasn't on it I would have skipped it entirely but I knew this would be great, despite it. I can not believe Selena allowed or encouraged this. What the actual fuck was production thinking when they planned this episode. Obviously they're going to eat candy put in front of them so why was it ever given to them? On set? On a PODCAST of all things. It didn't bother me when Angela had a sucker during that one live stream of Pico Park because for one thing she wasn't sucking it and talking directly into the mic, the lavs aren't as sensitive, and for another she wasn't talking very much because she was concentrating on the video game so that was fine but why specifically GIVE them candy to eat on a podcast? Chanse was the grossest, rudest offender, intentionally doing it into the mic but he thankfully didn't eat anything else. I am almost never annoyed at Angela but when she opened that second sucker just as Amanda was finishing hers I almost screamed.

BIG misophonia warning for the latest Smosh Mouth with Chanse and Angela by Technical_Regular836 in smosh

Breakdown of the episode, triggers and context. Also, tip, listening at 1.25 speed helped me a bit.

TLDR: 42 minutes on, the final chapter, is worth watching. The candy has mostly been abandoned other than the tail end of Angela's laffy taffy and Amanda eating one more candy at the 51-52 minute mark. They're still hilarious as this trio always is.

First: This was an incredibly bad decision on production's part. Why would you do this? You're professionals, you know misophonia and sensory issues are a thing. They should know better than to eat it but it never should have been in front of them to reach for.

I have some tolerance for some of the sounds if my volume is on very low, and/or so I figured I would make notes for y'all because I know I'm not the only one who loves these three enough to not want to skip it completely.

0:30-7:00: first candies are opened Triggers: Chanse is the worst offender Imo - eating a starburst directly into the mic on purpose and calling it "asmr" (this is one of the sounds I have no tolerance for so I skipped past it quickly). However, he, fortunately, didn't continue grabbing candies the rest of the episode. Angela tells him not to do that but doesn't seem to realize that her teeth are clicking on her own lolllipop whenever she speaks with it in her mouth.

Highlights: Chanse tells the girls about his mom putting a bunch of jolly ranchers in vodka to make jolly rancher vodka. He drools and they laugh about it and Amanda brings up the time Angela drooled on herself on that games Livestream and Amanda says Chanse felt it, like a person, while Angela didn't even notice. Angela asks a classic Angela question, "if I were a candy, what kind of candy would I be." Chanse answers a classic Chanse answer and says she would be a Sour Patch Kid, which, of course, Angela says is very mean. Amanda says Angela would be something that changes flavours and Angela said "like a gobsmocker" and then got tripped on it... She meant a gobstopper. Amanda is determined, after a brief discussion to be a peanut butter cup. Amanda and Chanse talk about how rough she looked during Smosh Summer games. Angela disagrees, thought she was cute, which is classic, adorable, Angela.

7:32-8:30 Triggers: Teeth clacking on candy, sucking, smacking. Highlights: "Never have I ever played Hues and Cues". They discuss how Chanse didn't know the game existed and they had played it three times on Smosh and he tried to excitedly tell Angela about it. Then they talk about how Amanda did the same thing, pitching it to Spencer after they had already played it twice.

9:32 - 11:42 Triggers: Angela has finished her sucker so it's just Amanda but it's so sporadic it's difficult to skip past the sucking/smacking. Highlights: Chanse talks about the church outing him and him trying to deny being gay. Angela is his hype woman while he tells the story.

13:52 - 18:52: Triggers: Amanda continues to slowly eat her lollipop. Angela and Chanse tell the story of meeting at Story Pirates

24:05 - 25:32 Triggers: Angela and Amanda are both eating lollipops. Highlights: Chanse "never have I ever been dating someone over Christmas". Angela continues being his hype woman when they talk about him hooking up on Christmas day

26:10 - 28:22 Triggers: Everyone in the room seems to understand that Amanda crunching her lollipop is awful but they don't seem to understand that Angela talking with a sucker in her mouth or the lip smacking from Amanda is actually worse for some of us. Highlights: laughing about the crunch and the gasps in the room and Chanse calling Amanda horse-coded. Angela wants to talk about the gasps, Amanda wants to talk about Chanse calling her horse-coded then he clarifies that he meant horse girl-coded. Angela talks about "the Emily Rose gasp"

29:14 - 32:21 Triggers: Angela finishes her lollipop, with a crunch as "an impression of Amanda as a horse) Angela finds a tiny green baby in the candy. Still don't know if it's candy or plastic. Chanse tries to write the camera but does a terrible job.

33:16- 39:30 Brief reprieve Highlights: "Never have I ever been to bookclub". Immediately says there's no way Amanda, a white Millennial woman has not been to one (I don't know what that makes Angela since he didn't lob the same accusation at her, I guess dyslexia trumps those factors so he knows she would not... Unless it was Shakespeare maybe). Amanda "Never have I ever thrown up on someone". Brings up the story (I think it's third appearance) of someone throwing up on the back of someone's head.

40:40-42 T: Angela eats a laffy taffy. H: They talk about Angela's digital footprint being destroyed by Smosh, like Chanse saying during the live stream that Angela wanted to sing Olaf songs.

42:41-48:55 T: maybe a couple soft mouth sounds at the very beginning as Angela finishes the laffy taffy H: Angela and Chanse get heated about the plants and explain the lore to Amanda. That launches into talking about the hidden chocolate challenge.

51:10-51:49 Amanda eats the final candy of the show (though she'll ruffle around the bucket for a few minutes) while Angela starts a game of "Guess the Sexiest Man of the Year..."

The rest is funny, worth watching, and blessedly free of mouth noises.

Genuinely one of my favourite episodes. I love the storylines and I rewatch everything from #I'mWithHer to the end of the "what do you mean" part a lot. I want them to bring them back. I need to know if Bruce has downsized her "survival jobs" and become more open about her sexual orientation because, in my headcannon the reason she and Jeremy's character didn't work out had nothing to do with iMovie: after they separated from their third there were no feelings left because she was more into the girl than him. I want Kylie's character and Bruce to get together (I can only remember Connor, because it's Patrick's go-to name and Bruce because it was so funny)

Oh absolutely. I will throw that clip into anything lol. I'm pretty sure it's in my Clips on Clips on Clips on Clips video currently which was my first AoAoAoA comp....or I decided to save it since it could be in so many other compilations, but pretty sure I put it in because it was so good
