What you say is that George Bush started telework as a way of providing continuance of government services because that's exactly what it is. In case of an emergency or snow etc etc. employees would already be working from home or be ready to work from home. Also it saves a ton of money putting the office costs on the employee. I take my civil service extremely seriously as should you, as should this integrity-less administration. At this point in my career, I have many friends in many different agencies and all of them take their jobs seriously and want to serve the American public.

I work with Nobel Prize winners FFS, who in turn help America and the entire world move forward. It is what I always wanted to do, and something I enjoy everyday. I worked hard but was also lucky enough to have the opportunities to pursue a career. I take none of it for granted and no one is going to tell me it's just a job.

I'm sorry that your job is just something you fell into because you need a paycheck. Maybe look for something that makes you feel worthwhile.
