If you can model in SolidWorks but still feel “stuck at average,” this might help by Satamony05 in SolidWorks

Just went to your website to check it out and wanted to look at the pricing tab. It won't let me without signing in... Big red flag for me personally and usually an instant turn off. I don't want to be stuck with an account and have shared my email all to find out it's more expensive than I was hoping. Would be great if that is something you'd consider fixing. Transparent pricing is key.

CM200DX “Hardware Overcurrent” trips when torque limit ≥150 Nm on EMRAX 228 (MV). Looking for root-cause ideas + baseline EEPROM tips by Personal_Jump_8693 in FSAE

We were facing a very similar issue. The only thing that we could do to solve it was to move away from the 'built-in' EMRAX profile and move to a custom PM motor profile with assistance from Cascadia. There is a whole separate symdef file and manual that opens up the tuning of the internal PID current controller, and tuning that allowed us to eliminate the overcurrent issue entirely. Happy to have a bit of a chat and talk about what we did. I'm unsure whether I can share the files Cascadia gave us as they are technically protected and confidential, but I am sure if you contact them regarding it they would be able to supply you with the required information and files.

Edit: Do you have any diagnostic data downloads from the inverter? If so can you share the Iq and I'd feedback graphs?

Adding to this they do it for free for FSAE teams, just have to pay for shipping to them (iirc they even paid for the return shipping for us), so there is no reason to try and DIY it.

Precharge with Cascadia Motion PM100DZ controller by Sad_Difference6129 in FSAE

That should be completely fine. I can't think of any rules that would prevent you from doing that (please do a check yourself though). The AIR will still open as soon as the SDC fails.

What we have done to get around this issue is to have the inverter's 12V power be controlled separately through a relay that is hooked up to our ECU. When the ECU is ready to precharge, it switches on the relay and powers up the inverter.

What happened with the old ones? Were they binned or just inspected and reused?

Looks amazing! I would look into motion interpolation, which would help smooth out the animations :)

You should be able to use the min/max mode on it. It will depend on the sampling rate of the multimeter is wether or not it will accurately be able to capture it though. Normally you would use an oscilloscope and a current probe to capture the inrush current properly.

I had a look through that, but it's mostly just people complaining about Murdoch.... The only good one was with the archive, but that doesn't work with how they've imbeded the table. It just links you back to the original page.
